EA has useful tools and knowledgable staff with in depth understanding of accessibility issues
What do you like best about the product?
New features are consistently released to improve workflow. They don't just focus on providing audits but making the process to fix issues easier. When issues are discovered, potential solutions are also provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes opened issues are more UX type problems than real violations, especially with manual reviews. While useful at times, these issues can also be distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used EA to audit our website as well as Android and iOS apps. As a developer with a lot of experience with accessibility, it is nice to have a 3rd party back me up in my recommendations for A11y compliance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The software is pretty good, their support staff is better.
Awesome services
What do you like best about the product?
eSSENTIAL Accessibility has been a great help. Awesome support staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about eSSENTIAL Accessibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their services are ADA, WCAG 2.1 compliant. Its been a huge benefit to our store.
Great product, even better support!
What do you like best about the product?
The team assigned to help us through the audit findings was great! They helped connect the eA portal to our JIRA instance to help the burden of creating multiple tickets! The eA portal is easy to navigate and extremely user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to note on what I did not like. The price point is a bit higher than other tools, but I think it is worth it based on the support from the eA team and the tool use itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our clients' site was not ADA compliant and trying to sort through the large spreadsheet that is given after an audit is tedious and intimidating. The eA portal makes this process so much easier for the client and the development team. The clients' site is incrementally getting better and the updated scans ran by the eA team helps us see this!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommend this product to others. Well worth the money.
The best in class Digital Accessibility Platform
What do you like best about the product?
eA's account management and direct support has been very strong throughout our engagement. Their tooling and infrastructure to maintain accessibility standards is also robust, and ensures that we're maintaining the experience that we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to add here. We've had some false positives come through their automated scanning tooling, but that's a small nuisance and nothing more. We're very happy overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We feel that our web properties are more compliant with accessibility standards, and our team is more educated on what's required to maintain our digital properties.
Powerful, with detailed best practices, but interface is cumbersome and not performant
What do you like best about the product?
I like the comprehensive best practices provided by the system, which include a succinct description of the best practice, specific examples, recommendations, modules where violations of the best practice can be found, standards that map to that best practice, and detailed instructions on how to test.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the robust feature set of the tool, it can be cumbersome to use, with slow load time between views. While a skilled accessibility analyst could use AMP to create detailed reports that would allow stakeholders to know with confidence that their application met applicable standards, it is unlikely that less experienced users would be able to use the system effectively. Performing an accessibility audit is a time-consuming and daunting task as it is, so any friction the user experiences in using a tool will make them less likely to persist in completing the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We would use AMP:
* to evaluate applications we were considering acquiring during the procurement process;
* as a part of our CI/CD pipeline for applications we are developing;
* to monitor the accessibility of sites using automated scans; and
* as a part of our professional development efforts, by pages designed to demonstrate common accessibility issues, and then instructing those receiving the training to use the tool to identify violations of WCAG success criteria.
We only tested the tool and have not actually used it for the use cases described, so we have not yet realized any benefits.

Hired Level access for an app audit and vpat
What do you like best about the product?
I like the self-paced access to university learning materials. They are easy to use and easy to understand which courses are relevant to your particular specialty.
What do you dislike about the product?
The salesy-ness of the initial pitch and the somewhat dubious pricing. I also, find some of the training materials to be out of date with thefocus still primarily focusing on WCAG 2.1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a designer, I haven't used AMP. Most of my training focuses on color contrast, font sizes, and the necessary interaction states needed for accessibility.
2022 Q1

The level of information that's provided for accessibility violations that are found.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed, it's pretty slow, layout could be improved.

Highlighting accessibility concerns across our websites and leading developers to make necessary changes. Realized improvements in "right first time" implementations.
Our goto toolbox for Accessibility Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool. I really like that this tool lists all the violations in a very specific way with tips on how to go about mitigating them as well as giving you insight into why the general principle is essential and how severe it really is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could use a little bit of an upgrade to make it more user friendly, but once you get used to it, it works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AMP to proof our programming work to make sure it meets WCAG 2.0 AA Compliance levels. The benefit is that it makes it a really easy process to perform and share with our programmers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool gives you actionable, acountable insight to mitigating accessibility issues that free tools do not. We use a variety of tools to keep up with accessibility and this has been our best-in-class option for several years.
Great A11y products
What do you like best about the product?
Color Picker is a great tool. Direct linking to existing JIRA projects was also a plus
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, in order to use the AMP automation cloud tool, there was a problem with our Azure Applications - the Inbound security rules were being controlled by the AKS cluster Application Gateway, which we were unable to change, so we could not perform testing on Azure Applications in our CD/CD pipeline
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very helpful for verifying pages were in WCAG compliance
Great accessibility management software

Easy Management of reports and sharing within the organization
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in automated testing have not been completely implemented yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy management and creation of reports along with easier testing using amp assistant
