  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NLP (Natural Language Processing)
What do you dislike about the product?
1- Reports

Lack of clear and detailed reports on usage, performance, and failures.

Hinders the analysis of metrics for decision-making.

2- Graphical Flow

Confusing and unintuitive visuals in larger flows.

Does not facilitate quick identification of discrepancies between steps.

3- Debug

Limited debug tool, lacking clarity on what was evaluated.

Hinders error traceability and understanding of flow behavior.

4- Limited Expressions

Lack of support for more advanced expressions.

Problems in evaluating variables (e.g., boolean values or data concatenation).

5- Integrations

Integration with APIs is not very flexible.

Inconsistent returns (partial vs. complete JSON) require manual solutions.

6- Passing Variables Between Steps

Difficulty in retrieving variable values (blank latitude/longitude).

Inconsistency in accessing step.body in different contexts.

7- Inconsistent Step Behavior

Steps calling the same API may have different results without clear explanation.

Excessive reliance on internal IDs instead of transparent logic.

8- Inability to Reuse Steps

It is not possible to copy steps from one flow and paste them into another.

Generates rework in dialogue construction and hinders standardization.

9- Tool Deployment

Publishing process is not intuitive.

Lack of clarity about environments (test vs. production).

What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is powerful, there are moments where the learning curve feels a bit steep, especially when integrating with more complex enterprise systems.

My experiance

  • August 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how IBM watsonx Orchestrate simplifies automation using natural language commands. It easily connects with popular business tools, making it effortless to streamline repetitive tasks and boost productivity—even for non-technical users. The user-friendly interface makes creating and adjusting workflows intuitive and accessible
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep at first, and documentation can be overwhelming. Periodic lags during heavy workflows and some limitations—like file upload size, restricted multi-agent support, and basic AI responses—mean it isn’t always perfect for every situation. There’s room for more real-time support and feature depth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM watsonx Orchestrate solves the major problem of repetitive manual work and complexity in automating business processes. By letting you automate multi-step tasks, manage workflows, and integrate easily with enterprise tools (like Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, and more), it breaks down silos and saves you and your team significant time and effort

What do you like best about the product?
Watsonx Orchestrate makes it easy to build and deploy intelligent agents without code, connect to enterprise tools, and quickly turn ideas into working automation
What do you dislike about the product?
While Watsonx Orchestrate is powerful, some limitations slow down adoption. Connector capabilities are still maturing — certain integrations require manual workarounds or don’t yet support advanced authentication flows like OAuth2 with custom scopes. Model selection is also restricted in the current UI, and features like elasticsearch search sometimes return limited results despite having multiple sources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Watsonx Orchestrate automates repetitive tasks, integrates with our enterprise tools, and speeds up PoC delivery — saving time, improving client engagement, and enabling us to scale AI-driven workflows quickly

A Powerful Automation Tool That Actually Saves Time

  • August 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about IBM watsonx Orchestrate is its incredible ease of use and powerful natural language processing. The platform is remarkably intuitive; we were able to get it up and running with minimal friction. It completely democratizes automation—you don't need to be a developer to create complex workflows. Just being able to tell the AI what you want to do in plain English is a total game-changer. The number of pre-built "skills" and the seamless ease of integration with our existing tools like Salesforce and Slack are also huge wins. It genuinely makes our team more efficient and has freed up a lot of time from tedious, repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing to be aware of is that while the basic functionality is very straightforward, there's a bit of a steep learning curve for the more advanced features and custom integrations. The platform is incredibly powerful, which also means it can be a little overwhelming at first. For someone who isn't very technical, creating a more complex "skill flow" can take some time to get the hang of. Also, while the integrations are a big selling point, the initial setup process for some of our non-IBM applications was a bit more complex than we anticipated. It's nothing that can't be figured out, but it's worth noting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were just drowning in repetitive tasks—copying and pasting data, switching between apps, and scheduling meetings manually. It was a huge drain on our time and honestly, it led to a lot of frustration and small mistakes.

Now, watsonx Orchestrate handles all of that. Our team is so much more productive because they're not getting bogged down by administrative work. We're getting more done, our workflows are smoother, and everyone is happier because they can focus on the important stuff instead of the busywork. It's a huge benefit for our entire team.

what I like most about Watsonx Orchestrate is the most important factor is facilitates the automation of repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort. It connects with multiple data sources and applications, allowing for seamless data flow and quick decision making. easy to get customer support, easy implementation of your prompts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have to face missing features, complex usability, and the setup can be a bit complicated at times and may take longer than expected. it can also have compatibility issues with other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Watsonx Orchestrate is helping us solve time-consuming manual workflows, enabling us to streamline, and making processes and work more efficiently.

Unlocking the power of automation -Hands-on review of IBM Watsonx

  • August 07, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Using it is very easy to automate tasks such as data entry, approvals, report generation, and more.
2. It is able to easily collaborate with our other AI tool UIPath without deep programming knowledge.
3. Security is one of the key feature of IBM Watsonx that has helped us largely.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Smaller firms might have to opt for a different product due to the cost and this software being positioned as an enterprise grade product.
2. IBM watsonx and its features have the best effectiveness inside of IBM ecosystem. If using somthing from outside might pose challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using this primarily for our Back-end operations (like automatic invoicing, procurement), connecting with UIPath and Appian using Low code integrations, and candidate screening for reducing manual interventions. It has largely reduced our manual workload, reduced errors and unified our existing automation investments like appian and UIPath.
