Easy Integration and Streamlined AI, But UI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to use and how various tools can be integrated with one another. This really streamlines the overall AI approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not a fan of the UI, and I find it frustrating that the platform is developing so quickly, with new changes appearing almost every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to implement processes using various agents, which makes things much easier for our customers.
Effortless Bot Creation and Streamlined Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of interaction with business information is impressive — with just a small amount of data, it can understand the client’s needs and provide answers based on business inputs. It greatly helps reduce interactions between multiple teams, as you can create a bot in a short period of time simply by using the interface and a well-prepared business document
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, I can’t say that there’s anything I particularly dislike about Watsonx. However, I think users need to take on more of a business-oriented role and learn how to fully orchestrate the tool’s potential. That learning curve can be a barrier at the moment, one that is currently being bridged by the involvement of developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping us build online agents that can answer questions about products, new launches, and step-by-step transaction guides, as well as handle inquiries about locations and service hours. This reduces the FTE workload in our BPO and increases customer attention and response rates.
Interesting
What do you like best about the product?
I believe this is the best tool for orchestrating and facilitating communication between components within an enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It tends to be more costly when used for short-term implementation within an organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am orchestrating many services and component technologies within my organization, and I find that it provides strong security and resilience for our business processes.
Interesting
What do you like best about the product?
It is more open than other orchestrators and integrates very well within the IBM ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's quite expensive, they continue to release it every month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Federated governance has had a noticeable impact on our time to market for releases. By distributing decision-making authority, we have been able to streamline processes and accelerate the release cycle. This approach has helped us respond more quickly to market demands while maintaining effective oversight.
I'm loving the product development especially the inclusion of MCP
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to orchestrate different capabilities to execute task from disparate applications is really a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience structure can definately be improves
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Processing of email and documents.
Experience at a high level is incredible, but some features are buggy
What do you like best about the product?
ADK is thoroughly documented, which I really appreciate. The release notes page is particularly helpful. There is a wide range of functionality, and Orchestrate continues to stay current with developments in the agentic landscape. I'm looking forward to integrating Claude as a base LLM for some of my agents and seeing how that works out. I love how consistently new features come out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The response times are slow, and new features frequently arrive with bugs. For instance, it's not possible to import a remote mcp through the ADK as intended; instead, I have to use the API to accomplish this. Previously, I encountered several problems with flows and the ADK as well. Additionally, when agents use tools in Orchestrate that require string inputs, the input string often gets cut off prematurely. For example, if I try to enter the sentence "my favorite place to eat is chili's because they have good food," it ends up being truncated to "my favorite place to eat is chili."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using internally for report generation and distribution as well as automating scheduling for our conference rooms. Also used on the backend of a Proto Hologram device which we take to conferences and roadshows to demos
Good start for automation
What do you like best about the product?
Automating processes without regular workflow
What do you dislike about the product?
Still exploring the product capability to utilize for various industry use cases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating tasks without the regular workflow
where would we be without it? not headed to market, that's for sure.
What do you like best about the product?
usability is through the roof. also love that we can integrate via ibm bloud cli.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really. we have no complaints whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
speeding up go-to-marktet for our SaaS solutions.
A simplified way to create agents
What do you like best about the product?
It's definitely nice that there's a UI component to watsonx Orchestrate (and general IBM products), so you can have a glimpse of what you're working with
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes though, it feels like the UI is oversimplified; as someone who's more used to working with agents within IDEs, it may be a confusing change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me I use orchestrate to tie together agents that carry out tasks such as fetching user data or general information via MCP servers.
