Seamless Setup and Minimal downtime

  • January 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Positives:

Quick to setup and super easy to integrate with Azure AD for SSO.

Solved issue with our newly remote-first workforce, replacing an older SSTP VPN system.

Supports mulitple platforms

Web-based user management

Customer support is 24 hours and we can get assistance even for our overseas contractors with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Negatives:

Documentation can be difficult as most Google searches yield information that only pertains to OpenVPN Server

We have had some issues with Ubuntu Linux machines and DNS not working properly while connected. Requires installation of additional features to get moving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our workforce went fully remote and our old style of VPN wasn't cutting it. We had users using multiple flavors of Linux, Windows 10/11, and MacOS. CloudConnexa allowed us to easily allow all users seamless connectiviity. We also purchased additional companies and adding their networks and subnets into CloudConnexa was simple and allowed us to build a single universal VPN across 4 separate entities.

CloudConnexa works great

  • January 16, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
We are a MSP that uses CloudConnexa for our customer. It works great!

1) We don't need to have complicated VPN devices on customer's location
2) MSP portal allows us to manage all our customers in a single location
3) Installation of the client is quite seamless. This is a great help since some of our customers are not very tech savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The agent services sometimes hangs and we had to manually restart it.

Agent update is not automatic

Decent for end-user experience

  • January 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its the most end-user-friendly product we have found, for "dial-up VPN" type purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
its not full enterprise level friendly for routing and filtering.
Plus it isnt supported directly by the enterprise routers we want to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
end-user VPN

Workable VPN service that does what you need.

  • January 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Good UI, navigation isn't impossible or annoying. You can intuitively find what you're looking for rather easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up end users could be better, you could indicate why you are naming a new connection the way it is etc so that end users who don't understand networking can piece together what's happening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to easily put parts of our stack behind a VPN and require that extra step of security. Ease of set up allowed us to replace an older kludgy model and actually have something that makes support not terrible.
