Good system that has limitations
What do you like best about the product?
Direct numbers and correct email addresses in an easily searchable database.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you cannot update the numbers and emails yourself, even if you've come across data that is more accurate. Sometimes the info is incorrect or the role information is out of date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, everybody we called had to be reached via a switchboard, which had its limitations. We have been able to call and email more prospects as a result of ZoomInfo.

Be aware of its limitations and be sure to do a trial before buying it.
Accurate information spread across georgrpahies
What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo provides accurate information about contacts with correct email ids and phone numbers. It also provides the kind of contacts I look for e.g. Digital, Analytics etc which most other contact databases do not as they focus more on IT and Infrastructure. Zoom Info has lot of contacts from UK & Europe which is my primary focus area.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't provide enough information on company's IT or Digital landscape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am into Sales hence I look for accurate information especially contact name, email address, phone numbers and also some relevant info on the company and their initiatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My personal opinion is that ZoomInfo is better than Discover Org or Rain King if you into selling Digital Solutions but if your focus is more into IT, go for DiscoverOrg as it not only provides lot of insights about the company but provides you complete Organisationsal mapping. In terms of Quality of information, ZoomInfo is better than others.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. I love that you can search by name, or company or title. I also like that you can choose to search someone's network by who you may have already searched. It appears that new companies get added frequently which is nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if there was an org chart or an easier way to see all of someone's information in one place without having to click on the person and then click back when you are done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo allows me to find contact information for potential companies we may want to work with.

What do you like best about the product?
The insights and contacts I can get with a few clicks of the mouse are invaluable. I couldn't do my job without it, well I could but it would be much more time consuming and difficult.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the triggers can be outdated so its best to cross check any critical information you choose to utilize. Beyond that there is not a lot to say negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to connect with decision makers within an organization is my primary use for it and the org charts and summary reports are easy to use export and implement.

Make sure that you have a service that compliments DO, cross check against things like linkedin to make sure the info is accurate.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of finding a name and narrowing it down by title. I can be very specific in what I am looking for and usually find what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times I get bounce back email addresses from Zoom Info. I wish the database was kept up to date more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to find the correct contacts and build pipeline by setting up a campaign with the contacts I have found.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you use this database for creative/hr contacts, and have another database for IT contacts.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to import contact information directly from LinkedIn using the ReachOut tool is a game changer for us. The addition of being able to import data as a contact and not only as a lead was a welcome change that transformed the benefit we receive from the tool. We have conducted a few mass contact updates and their team was wonderful to work with on this.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout of the website is still a little clunky. We mostly use the integrated ZoomInfo window within the Account and Contact pages within SalesForce, but when you need to do an advanced search the website is better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding contact information to populate and refresh accounts.

I haven't found a better product in this category yet for our needs.

I can't really call this changing what the platform is currently but I would add smaller companies private and otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sales force is able to be more productive as a vast amount of time is saved using this tool as a main resource for sourcing as well as researching.

Allows you to grow your sales by getting qualified prospects

Sometimes the prospects generated are not qualified, but it is impossible to turn all prospects into leads
