Increased outbound demos booked within 2 weeks
What do you like best about the product?
The organizational structure view. I can target a specific team and if I don't get responses I can go above to their team leader and request an introduction and even name drop a little.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed I can get some data from ZoomInfo that I can't get on DiscoverOrg. I think that could be the target persona we are after isn't always in the marketing department and we only have access to marketing with DiscoverOrg.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Low levels of outbound demos to large organizations. Since jumping on with DiscoverOrg about a month ago there have definitely been increases and demos booked with high profile companies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth it. As an SDR my outbound open rates, click rates and reply rates have increased dramatically and I have been able to get in front of my target persona almost straight away.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Sometimes I will find someone in the marketing department on LinkedIn but I can't find them on DiscoverOrg, or sometimes I want to find someone that's not in the marketing department but they don't show up in the tree.

Demonstrations about certain features are really valuable

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the platform is fantastic. It just makes sense. I enjoy how granular company data can get as it provides information for multiple departments, in multiple different locations. The scoops are incredible! I still can't figure out how the information is gathered in terms of finding out about specific initiatives like training BUT I have yet to find a time that DiscoverOrg was wrong in noting the scoop. I have used a lot of tools in regards to sales and prospecting and the scoops are something no other company has on you (to my knowledge). I LOVE IT!
What do you dislike about the product?
The information within each organization can tend to be outdated quite often. When you cross reference with LinkedIn you see the specific employee is with another company now and has been for months. It concerns me that it the accounts aren't checked more regularly. I would encourage a higher rate of reviewing by the company to insure the data doesn't lag more than one month back. This will increase customer satisfaction as we won't be submitting tickets to resolve issues and will be focusing on our actual job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps increase my productivity because it cuts down my prospecting time more often then not. I enjoy that both Salesforce and DiscoverOrg can link together to save even more time by enabling you to, with the click of a button, add a contact or company into the CRM platform. It makes for adding contacts, leads and organizations as easy as it possibly could be. Definitely a real benefit in the space I work in.

If you want to save time and increase the productivity of your business development unit I strongly recommend you consider this product. It will do exactly that.
DiscoverOrg is my go-to Company Information Provider
What do you like best about the product?
I like the technology tab the most. For my job, I need to do thorough research ahead of time before calls with prospects. It is good to know the technology that they are using ahead of time to look prepared for the customer. DiscoverOrg provides me that information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how there are many companies not featured on DiscoverOrg. There have been many cases in which I can not find the company in which I need to complete research for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to solve ERP and Ecommerce issues for our customers. Through DiscoverOrg, I can find which ERP system and Ecommerce platform the prospects are using. Through this, I can go into a call with a background on what they are using and prove how our product is better suited for their needs.
DiscovererOrg has some of the most accurate data I have ever worked with.

RainKing Scoops are not very helpful -- usually its either old information or publicly available information -- not actionable

I love being able to totally figure out a companies Hierarchy in 1 or 2 clicks.

Having certain subscriptions turned off so I can't see everything about the company.

We are a sales Organization and Identifying decision makers is paramount to our suceess. Discover.Org makes that a 1000X's easier to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for prospecting. Make sure you buy the correct subscription that includes all of your targets. I.E- We have the IT subscription but do not have the admins.... So we do not get any of the Procurement contacts. A mistake as far as I am concerned.
A wealth of data at your fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to find, capture, and distribute information with DiscoverOrg. It's cut the amount of time I put into research by at least half, and I'm able to deliver better data to my sales team because of it. You can also get really granular with what you're looking for, and that makes creating campaigns so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could be a little nicer, but I really don't have a ton of qualms other than that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to build lists and create campaigns for our sales teams in record time. We always knew there had to be a better way at sourcing data, and this is it.
Extensive Database for Finding New Leads
What do you like best about the product?
I love the interface and the advanced search features, ability to subscribe to your searches , and send requests for contact info on prospects. They're very responsive and helpful when you reach out to their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lack of prospects' direct lines, although I expect this to get better since the acquisition of ZoomInfo.
Also, the email address is not always correct, but again, I tihnk ZoomInfo will help with that in the next few months.
I think some more search criterias to really fine tune the searches will be helpful.

Trying to find new prospects with a current need and the best way to reach them. I have found so many new prospects that I would not have found otherwise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Everything DiscoverOrg is doing recently is great. The move to buy ZoomInfo was highly strategic and I know it'll gain a huge return for everyone involved, including us as the end users. If you are to go with 1 prospecting database tool, it would have to be DiscoverOrg, even before the ZoomInfo acquisition. The intel on companies and other information like that is not available in many other places with this degree of accuracy.

I have had a lot of issues with accuracy in regards to emails and numbers.

I have insight into who roles up to who which is helpful in identifying key targets within my accounts

What do you like best about the product?
The user-experience and rich data content is super valuable. Best data center software in the US from my research. Great search for position, structure, tech stack, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not 100% correct data on employees or company info... however, overall very accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to find new or the right contacts, seeing a company's tech stack, understanding organizations' structures.

Obviously, look at all software data centers but from my understanding, DiscoverOrg is the best in US market.
