Salesloft functionality

What do you like best about the product?
It's interface is user-friendly and fairly self explanatory which does not require much added training if rolled out to your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's integrations are getting better but I have been using it for roughly 6 months and it seems weekly it has an issue with its SFDC integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Activity is certainly increased with this tool, outreach can still be customized with minimal extra time investment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep with it, they are improving the product fairly quickly.

Outbound Prospect Made Easy

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. We can easily import a list, tag it, and then assign it to a cadence. A cadence is a series of emails and calls that our reps will complete as part of the outbound prospecting process. We used to use our CRM for outbound but it was too difficult to manage. Salesloft was built just for prospecting.

The built-in analytics is awesome too! We can view open rates, click through rates for all campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had an API. Right now we have to import a CSV file for each list. We'd use Salesloft for inbound leads too if there was an API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesloft makes outbound prospecting efficient and intelligent. The data is available immediately and we adjust our subject lines to increase open rates. In order for outbound prospecting to pencil with our average deal size we have to be very efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily combine a customized/automated email drop campaign. The interface makes it easy to use and the integration to salesforce is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the cadences makes it very easy to blast out 'standard' emails to all contacts with little to no customization. These types of emails don't get great responses. You need to make sure you take advantage of the all the extra features and tools to communicate with your prospects in a more personalized way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping the sales team to conduct an effective business dev outreach program. I was able to save huge amounts of time using the cadence templates while still retaining the ability to customize the emails that I am sending resulting in a higher response rate.

Game changing solution

What do you like best about the product?
This tool changed the game for out sales team. Our SDR's are crushing it on a daily basis using this tool.

Also, they have unreal customer service who are super helpful and their blog content is chock full of great advise and inspiration.

Highly recommended for any sales team looking to improve their sales development processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I can't think of anything bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution was a great addition to our sales development stack. the cadenced outreach and daily to-do list help us ensure that every inbound lead is touched properly every time.

Oh SalesLoft, where would I be without you...

What do you like best about the product?
Acts as an outreach "all-in-one". Thankful the UI is nice because I spend roughly 95% of my computer time on this platform. I came from another company that used a tool called Outreach. Very similar in many ways, but ultimately it's the support, integrations like Crystal, and cleaner workflow that make SalesLoft a superior product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could refresh the stats on the contacts, ie. open rates, so they reflect my outreach only, and not total # including previous notes from my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting our messaging out there in a way that is meaningful, scalable, and organized. Plus the ability to share our outreach amongst the team is super valuable when we work states and countries apart.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready to make your life easier. If switching from another tool like Outreach, there is a small learning curve because you want to do the same things in a slightly different way. Give it some time, chat with your awesome rep, and you'll be thankful you switched.

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless integration with a variety of other techs. Easily import and tag contacts. Increase productivity of sales reps greatly by automating the majority of their data entry processes. Decent customer success, they will respond within a couple hours usually. They constantly update the platform with new features and are always trying to create a better experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation programs should be introduced and more sophisticated. Lacking a lot of functions that marketers use in ESPs. Would be nice to get those features into this platform. WYSWYG platform, don't expect any consultation or advice on how to actually use their product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps sales reps to focus on dialing, talking, and responding to emails that have been automatically personalized and sent through the salesloft tool. Increasing productivity by hundreds of percent.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to set up and to get adoption with your team. From a manager's standpoint I love that I can easily track everything. Most systems out there allow you to send automated emails but cadence makes it simple to customize them by user. From there you can easily understand with the analytics how to optimize the various communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issues I have aren't deal breakers at all. The main thing for me is trying to understand of the various points of communication, which actually help us to reach our goal (setting up cold meetings). The system does a great job tracking emails/phone but I want it be more seamless to track linkedin as well. I know they're working on this and it's not the easiest feature to buiild.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Was looking to make our SDR's more efficient and to be able to optimize our process. Before we didn't have a system in place which would provide transparency across the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a solution which your team will adopt quickly, integrate into all of your platforms (gmail, salesforce, etc.) this is the best platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I like knowing when someone has opened my email, and I like being to automate email cadences.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection between Salesloft and my email is really spotty, and I constantly need to restart my browser or logout and log back into my email so that I can click the "loft it" button which syncs my email to Salesforce. It's a total pain, and defeats the purpose of a sync.

Additionally, I have no visibility into whether or not the email recipient opened an attachment, which both Clearslide and Groove are able to do (and probably many others).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm in sales, so knowing who has opened my emails and when is really helpful. Additionally, being to automate certain prospecting email cadences is helpful. I just think there are better software programs out there that do what Salesloft does, but better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at Groove or Clearslide.

Activity tracking, new team template feature
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate pulling in leads from a Salesforce campaign - there is no way to sort/navigate the list other than who is and is not on a campaign
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking open rates/click rates/reply rates on templates and cadences to better strategize our sales strategy

What do you like best about the product?
I can't get enough of the SalesLoft analytics. If your are unaware of the changes in go to market strategies then you are missing the boat completely. Business success today is based on data, track it, slice and dice it, then deliver it. Since implementing SalesLoft, I am able to understand what emails are most effective and why, along with what call out procedures are most effective, and why a combination of both is highly effective. This is due to the best practices shared, along with AB testing of subject lines and content. When asked by my team,"what can i be doing better?" the simple response is, "lets open up your cadence and see what we can find out." You need to make more calls here, or you need to personalize emails here and here. Through the data that is at our fingertips, we have been able to re-define our process. It would be a crime not to mention the superb support received from this fantastic team.
What do you dislike about the product?
i would like to see SalesLoft build a model designed for the latter part of the sales cycle. Tracking proposals and providing analytics in correlation to closing probability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems of efficiency and effectiveness. We are able to touch more potential customers with the correct message.
