Salesloft made my life easier and sales process more fluid

  • August 30, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost I love how intuitive the software is. It was easy to pick up and start using from day one. I didn't feel like I needed to read a ton of literature on how to use the software. However, if anything does go wrong support is amazing and they have great knowledge base articles to help you. I don't experience glitches between Salesloft and Salesforce so it makes tracking and reporting very fluid and easy. Also, the call capabilities are fabulous and make coaching and developing the team easier because we can listen to call recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to complain about with Salesloft. The only thing I would say is you need to double check if you are running prospects in multiple cadences and make sure you aren't stepping on other people's toes when importing leads!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a better software for call tracking and sending emails. The team was struggling before by using Outreach and we weren't getting proper reporting and our open rates for emails was very low.
We were also struggling with user management. I've noticed benefits in amount of touches we put out, calls made, connections made, and user implementation.

SalesLoft powers our entire sales development and sales process

What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft is an user-friendly sales enablement platform that powers our entire sales development process and team as well as our sales process. When I was asked to design and develop a SDR program, purchasing SalesLoft was the first thing I did because I knew that SalesLoft would be able to support the SDR program, whatever it looked like, and SalesLoft would report on everything. SalesLoft reinforces the process and helps our team focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Our sales team has said that it's addicting be able to see when someone opens, clicks and replies to an email. We love the LocalDial feature as well as the voicemail drop and all the tech integrations in the platform, like Twitter, Owler, Crystal, etc. It's very clear that SalesLoft was developed by people who love sales and want to improve the discipline, which makes the software an even more incredible platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major. The only thing I can think of is so minor that it's almost not worth mentioning - I wish that the platform updates would be grouped together and released once a week or maybe once every other week because it's hard to keep up with all the updates when they're throughout the week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The efficiency and effectiveness of our sales team has increased substantially! Also, the LocalDial has increased the connect and conversation rate of the sales team, so we're having more conversations. The SalesLoft platform also creates complete transparency because every communication is logged in SalesLoft and Salesforce, so the Account Executives know all the communication that a Sales Development Rep has had before getting on the phone for a discovery call or demo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After doing 8 software implementations in 15 months, I've learned that no software is the full package and no implementation is as smooth as you want it to be - SalesLoft is about as close as it gets though. The platform does everything the sales rep told it that it would plus more and they're constantly adding new features, and the implementation is the easiest and best implementation that I've ever done!

Makes my life easier

What do you like best about the product?
My industry doesn't require much calling, and email is the main way I book meetings and prospect. With SalesLoft, I'm able to effectively reach out to many prospects in a short amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some small bugs in their software, especially when composing an email. Nothing too extreme but still annoying throughout the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching hundreds of prospects in a day by only composing a sequence of emails once
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a ton of these types of softwares out there, definitely evaluate your options to make sure you're not buying a program that has more than needed

Fantastic Customer Experience

  • August 04, 2017

What do you like best about the product?
After working with both Prospector and Cadence, I can safely say the company is constantly updating and upgrading their product, which is a fantastic characteristic. Unfortunately, our company ran into some issues while using the product.

Instead of ending the relationship, SalesLoft went above and beyond to help us get back on track. After working with a slew of 3rd party marketing platforms, I can safely say SalesLoft treated us the best, and I would not hesitate to refer them to a business partner or colleague of ours.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint would be the issues we have experienced as a company, but we've been told it is exclusive to our set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using SalesLoft as our main demand generation and sales automation platform.

Salesloft is the best. Very easy to use, combines all relevant information a BDR needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Cadences, account and contact information from sources like LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Owler, etc. Dialer is great. Running steps is easy. Salesforce.com integration is bi-directional. Their Salesforce.com plugin is great to use. We mostly run out of Salesforce.com, as we store all our information and notes there, so for running steps it's really really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mass edits would be nice, but since we mostly use Salesforce.com for that, it's really easy. Sharing team vs personal cadences could be a lot better. Same with saving a template created from a cadence, it doesn't do this and seems straightforward that it should. The analytics should be a lot better. They push you more for the Salesforce.com analytics package, which is good, except we're limited on how many fields we can add and edit in our Salesforce.com instance. Meeting Intelligence leaves a lot to be desired and is very pricey compared to more focused platforms for reviewing calls and using AI. The administration features isn't the easiest to use, it's seems like they focus more on a consistent layout and user experience that easily organizing and finding what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping outreach organized. Running plays using different cadences. Automating actions like email campaigns. They're also great thought leaders on things like cadences/sequences, personalized emails, and produce great content to follow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Top notch support. High quality product making our teams way more efficient in activity driven roles.

Great platform but not seamless

  • August 01, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Salesloft allows me to have campaigns going for over 1,000 people at a time and that it has the built in dialer.

Also, their CEO Kyle Porter is one of the most genuine people that I've ever watched. I know that I'm a valued customer under his watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very seamless and requires it's own platform to run. I'm so used to doing everything through gmail that Yesware is my favored choice. I understand salesloft offers more than Yesware in terms of functionality and power but the simplicity of Yesware simply works better for me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out to a mass audience at scale
Ability to use a dialer in the same platform as my emails

Salesloft is a fantastic tool

  • August 01, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the reminders, but the best thing about salesloft if the cadence feature. That feature alone has gotten me more meetings than any other tool in the game.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reminders don't take you right to the actual email that you set the reminder for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesloft allows me to follow up with current clients and prospects more effectively than other tolls in the market

Great for the right use

What do you like best about the product?
This works really well if you are sending lots of mass messages and are not working primarily out of gmail. Import your contacts into salesloft and begin working away. You can move entire companies in and out of a cadence with no problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
This does not work well if you work primarily out of gmail. You have to use the loftit button to track any message rather than just tracking anything that you send. The contact also has to be in salesloft and salesforce for it to track. To view tracking you can't just use a drop down you actually have to go to the salesloft page to view this so if you are working out of gmail it is cumbersome. The dialer is not my favorite, but a really cool feature is that you can pre record voicemails helping you move along quicker, though that does take away the customization of voicemails. Really this being a second email and calling tool and not an enhancement of current tools is the reason for the downvote. Email and calls already work well. I just need it to be simpler not to have more of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email tracking and sending emails at scale as well as it's click to call dialer. This is really good for lots of mass emails, but less useful and more cumbersome for smaller more targeted outreach.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for mass messaging. Less great for targeted strategic sales approaches.
