Good enough to get me going
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Salesloft is being able to easily save and access templates and cadences for future use and the capability of sharing them with my team. It's also really nice being able to stay connected on a pre-set schedule rather than relying on Salesforce tasks to keep up with people.
What do you dislike about the product?
It still feels like I'm doing more clicking than I otherwise would if I saved templates in outlook and accessed them later. I'm also bothered by the email tracking- it's not true "tracking " and the alerts pop up anytime I go into my sent folder to review previous emails or even reply to a thread. I VERY much dislike the call pass-through- why do I need to wait for a button to be pressed for my call to be made to a prospect? I've used other outbound dialing systems and this one is by far the clunkiest and worst to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining contact and engagement with leads and contacts that would otherwise get lost in my Salesforce Tasks list, event follow up, outbound calling, "budget-friendly" sales engagement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be aware that their support group only emails and has EXTENDED delays in solving issues. even getting onboarded is difficult and definitions of things in their products are hard to find.
Amazing Product, even better support
What do you like best about the product?
I was asked to revamp our outbound prospecting team and efforts. After looking at several different platforms, I couldn't be happier with our decision to get Salesloft.
The ease of use is great
The reporting gives me actionable insights into coaching feedback and reporting back to the org
The integration and support were the best I've ever received

What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my team lives in Salesloft and nothing else. I wish we had the ability to pull in historical data. I also wish that Salesloft enhanced the ability to use team cadences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the ability to track what messaging and what cadence work to get meetings with the right people. The easy benefit is data that I could use for coaching. The other benefit is to use it for capacity and forecast planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a lot of products out there that do a very similar thing to Salesloft. What you get with Salesloft that you won't get with the others is a consultative approach to which KPI's are important to you and how to drive them, but amazing service to create best practices.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, live feed of activity, website tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to edit multiple contacts within the same organization
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email tracking, tasks, further research
Useful product but many small issues
What do you like best about the product?
Can help team optimize time and make calls
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot prioritize well between and within cadences
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need cold outreach team to be efficient and high volume with calls. Need to track effectiveness of emails. Salesloft has allowed us to increase call volume and do AB testing on emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try and get a trial, roll it out with part of your team as a pilot to find the small bugs & issues before a full implementation.
Increased Efficiency, Power, and Impact
What do you like best about the product?
I love the report function and the ability to look at overall trends. It makes looking at data a lot easier, and helps me navigate to potential opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there could be embedded tutorials on the reporting function, but at the same time, I find the function extremely user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely solving efficiency problems, as well as overall goaling efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think if you are looking for a tool to increase efficiency, and drive results, then sales force will show you exactly where you need to spend time and where to drive efforts.
Cadence
What do you like best about the product?
Building a candence to personally engage with customers
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with LinkedIn Navigator only and not normal/regular LinkedIn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE are engaging with a customer base we normally do not get to engage with using our field reps. We can now connect faster and more often
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Provide alternative visuals to reporting metrics - adding gameification
Helpful well beyond Sales Development
What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft is well established as a Sales Development tool, but it's helpfulness and functionality has a wide variety of applications. My team of CSMs loves SalesLoft's email tracking for those hard to reach customers, the Outlook Connect plugin to keep them focused in their inbox while still being able access our Team Snippets & Templates, the Owler integration to get a snapshot of their customer's latest news, and the Vidyard integration to easily send personalized video messages to their top accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the iconography and in-platform navigation can be a bit tricky to grasp, but it becomes second nature with consistent usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Sales team really leverages the full functionality, but SalesLoft helps improve efficiency for my team by keeping the latest content and messaging just a few clicks away, saving valuable time for personalization and customer deep-dives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are several platforms out there with similar functionality, but what you get with SalesLoft is a group of people that genuinely care about their customers. From initial sale through ongoing support, every interaction has been top notch.
Great automation for keeping in touch with prospects and clients
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It does not require a lot of hand holding to get going, you can start and have emails sending same day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of email building options. You cannot use anything in HTML, or add backgrounds or things that make email marketing unique to the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing and communications. It keeps in touch with folks so I dont have to re-invent the funnel
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for ease of use, it doesnt require a lot of experience to understand or use it
A must have for business development
What do you like best about the product?
From the start our Account Executive took the time to learn about our business and what we needed and if this product was a good fit. The platform is well configured and easy to setup and use. The integration with SFDC makes it seamless and you can avoid bouncing back from screen to screen. It makes outbound business development process efficient and easy to manage, and provides an effective follow-up process for in-bound leads to not slip through the cracks!
What do you dislike about the product?
There doesn't seem to be a way to import a campaign from SFDC into SalesLoft. You have to manually select and "Loft" contacts into a cadence. We have had some call quality issues with the dialer program, which may be on our side regarding to the setup and dedicated bandwith directed to those users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used mainly for our business development efforts to help increase outbound marketing efforts and manage inbound leads appropriately. Our quota carrying reps have been using it to create touch point cadences with non-engaged prospects in their territories. We have seen an immediate increase in activity metrics around calls, emails, follow ups, etc. This has helped us increase our opportunities created and meetings set each month since we started using SalesLoft. The analytics and visibility to management is also a great tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It comes down to what functionality you need as a business. There are more and more sales engagement tools available and make sure you know exactly what you need prior to the evaluation.
Great for Cadences
What do you like best about the product?
being able to quickly sort through templates using tags
Ability to create multiple cadences i.e cold cadence for general outreach and being able to easily move those who have viewed or clicked on an email into a hot cadence for more tailored outreach
Can quickly call through a list of contact when on a call step in cadence - makes 30+ dials in an hour very easy (granted you don't have a 10 minute connect)
I can create a cadence for my SDR to copy and use on my top accounts.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a feature when building out steps in a cadence to assign rules to which step a person will go to if they do a specific action. i.e. if I sent out 100 emails to cold accounts, I would like to make a rule that anyone who opened or clicked on that email would then go to a call step. The others would go to a float email step. OR it would be helpful if you could select people, from the email view in a cadence, to then move onto a different step.
Also, frustrating that the email view and click results in a cadence are not cadence specific. For instance if someone else had sent a prospect 3 emails, she viewed one of them; but now that account is in my territory and I send her an email from my cadence - it shows that she viewed my email when really she viewed one of the past emails.
Would be nice if you could complete reminders from the home page.
