    Computer Software

Swiss army knife for sales engagement

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Live Call Studio, Cadences, high-level analytics, dialer, customer service
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to track analytics on personal cadences/templates, incomplete initial implementation (however CS and our rep have been very responsive in optimizing)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher activity across the team, call coaching, data on effective emails
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a checklist of what you want to see once implemented prior to implementation

SalesLoft helps track your leads and outreach activity

What do you like best about the product?
Cadences can be automated to reach out to customers with just a few clicks to setup. It keeps our reps organized. We have multiple offices so tracking the activity on each account is critical to ensuring we don't bombard prospects and overlap. Call recordings help the management team give effective feedback to improve each team member.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with SalesForce is not automated. Sometimes contact information will not import properly or may not tie in from SalesForce at all and a manual import of that data is required. It would be great if this could be automated to add all contact info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our entire sales team uses SalesLoft. It keeps us organized and with so many on-going outreaches by multiple people, across different regions, it tracks all of the communications to know who did what last.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for tracking outbound/inbound leads and calls. Also very helpful during the sales process. Call volume reports for reps, average talk time, and other stats like the ones for cadences are extremely helpful with performance reviews. Prior to sales, I was in onboarding and implementations where SalesLoft isn't currently used. From an implementation standpoint, this isn't the best program.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can go right into my next call with little to no wait time. The email sequence feature is a great tool for getting your message out to the prospect. I like how I am able to create specific cadences for specific times of the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cadences can be confusing. Opened emails notification needs to be filtered. Needs to have a feature that shows if your email has been forwarded. sales force to sales loft lead integration is not very smooth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make more calls per day as BDR, Emails, and calls all in one place is very convenient. Allows me to get more out of my day by being able to log my calls on the fly. I have realized that With sales loft my team and I are able to manage our leads better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Works great for inside sales.

    Information Technology and Services

Good idea bad execution/software

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The automated cadences are probably the best thing about SalesLoft
The templates in general work okay
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing works the way it's supposed to. Below are a list of the problems we've had:
The dialer doesn't work/has poor sound quality
Calls sometimes don't get logged
Some prospects and customers reject emails that go through salesloft first
Some of my team got banned from sending emails because they were labeled spammers
Email attachments often don't go through
The email signatures and text looks shoddy and unprofessional
The support is HORRIBLE
Support people aren't technical and don't know their product
They just blame every other piece of tech you have... it's never the fault of their buggy software, it's always Chrome, Outlook, Azure, 365, your internet, your headset, and literally anything else's fault
No accountability whatsoever
It's also pretty expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Literally the only positive we've gotten from SalesLoft is a few passive demo bookings through automated cadences. It has not done anything else well that it was supposed to and even this functionality has periodically let us down.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software is not fit for purpose. Would recommend avoiding this tool. It's expensive, doesn't work well, and the support is the worst I've had with any company I've ever engaged with.

Great Product

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and understand. Wonderful implementation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it is so simple to use. The only thing I wish they would add is more integration with SF and ability to send and receive from diff emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leads and processing of them. We are booking demos!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
YES!!!!!

Good tool but...

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SalesLoft is best for building cadences and keeping contacts/leads moving through that chain of actionable steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have historically had a lot of issues with calling out and the service not working properly. Emails are also constantly formatted differently than what I see as I am writing it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business problem is making sure that leads and accounts are being worked properly. Biggest benefit is being able to offload doing this with a system that does not sync with all of my existing tools (SF, DiscoverOrg)

SalesLoft Review - A Must Have

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to add leads into cadences that keeps me on track for my ideal number of touches in a certain time period. I think the analytics piece has to be up there as well. It is great to A/B test different cadences to see what is performing better and what to focus on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is pretty good and straightforward. The one thing that comes to mind is some of the UI. For example, sometimes the contacts title, if it is too long, does not show on page and in order to see it you have to open the salesforce account. Could be a bug they are fixing already but I think overall UI could be a bit better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of the activities we are doing per lead. Being able to see analytics and results from each cadence is key. Gives us the ability to fine tune our approach and double down on cadences that are performing well. This platform also lets us collaborate with other team members cadences and draw from what is working from each one to create better and better cadences based on the team's efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth considering for your sales team.

Honest Review of SalesLoft

  • November 20, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
All of the SalesLoft's features are a good idea, especially the email tracking. However, the way this is done by salesloft is subpar and does not filer out self-opens. So when I scroll through my sent box those are counted as opens and skew the open rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Amount of time it takes to import people from SalesForce to SalesLoft
-Lack of bi-directional integration of SL and SF
-Emails failing due to issues with Outlook integration
-Response time and helpfulness of the support team. Unwillingness to take responsibility for bugs
-Call quality is sub-par and often goes down
-There is no mechanism for reminders to be set
-Can only send emails on weekdays if they are automated
-The UI/UX of SalesLoft could be greatly improved. I find that it takes far too many clicks to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It could solve the need for a more structured sales engagement process through the use of cadence, in line email responses, and automation of emails. However, we have had so many issues with emails failing, not being delivered, and getting flagged as spam that we haven't been able to realize the full potential.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider all products on the market. From my research, it seems like other products have more features, better support, and are easier to use.
