A powerful sales engagement tool

  • February 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about SalesLoft are the outstanding integrations that the platform has developed. It fit seamlessly into our sales tech stack and was able to sync all of our information back to the necessary systems. Additionally, Salesloft has helped us take some of the thought out of remembering to follow-up with prospects. The biggest miss many times for a sales team is remembering to follow up on a lead that might be warming up to your offering. With SalesLoft, we can track e-mail activity, views, clicks, and more to gauge how engaged a certain prospect might be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there is not much I dislike, the one thing that can be frustrating is the cap they set on outbound emails and the delivery intervals they make you set. When hitting "send all" on outbound emails, they will stagger in 30-60 second intervals depending on the setting. Not a huge issue unless you are sending 300 emails out at once, meaning the last email will send about 5 hours after the first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are increasing the number of prospects that we touch on a given day, week, or month. As opposed to hand-writing emails through SFDC or setting reminders for yourself in 3 different places, we can house all outbound activity through one tool. This has helped us increase our overall opportunity creation on the sales team and our overall closed revenue number.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An extremely useful and powerful tool for those looking to increase their outbound productivity.

That you know when to call, or you can take notes with every call you make. It makes it really simple to know what to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can send email to a person if they are not uploaded into sales loft.
and Salesloft doesn't track calls you make if the person isn't uploaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can make more contacts with prospects using Salesloft

Email Cadences Are Great

  • February 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to set up email cadences with templates. I also like having visibility into the open rates and click rates of those templates and emails
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that in the activity tab of a cadence where there is a bar chart telling you the break down of the analytics of your emails, that you could click on the bar chart and see exactly who clicked and viewed your email
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having visibility into the status of emails. Manually sending out emails to prospects and keep templates in places that are not secured and are hard to find.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not sure what other tools are out there but if you want to get visibility into email metrics and automatically create and send email templates to prospects then Salesloft is the way to go.

Makes Automating Sales Development Easy

  • February 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of functionality on the back end for the Manager to set up processes and automations, but the user experience for each SDR is simple streamlined. No one has to go looking for who they should call next. We have a well-defined process, and SalesLoft gets the Leads that are due for communication in front of the SDRs when the time is right with no hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints. We use an antiquated hard phone system, so we have to use Call Pass Through. It seems this affects the volume sometimes, and every once in a while, the Pass Through bridge will drop and we will have to redial. Not much more than a minor inconvenience. We assume these issues will be improved when we switch to a more modern phone system which allows internet calling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows our SDRs to focus their time on communicating with and qualifying leads instead of searching our database for who to contact next. It really makes us so much more efficient. It also makes our process more repeatable and reduces training time for new reps.

What do you like best about the product?
salesloft allows you to send emails , while being able to prospect new companies . Offers specific information to allow us to customize emails for prospects. We can see anaylictics to our call volumne , email count , open to close ratio .
What do you dislike about the product?
everytime you make a call , you have to open up a new line and press 1 at a certain time, if you miss the time , he keeps repeating itself . the dial option should be one click, and call as soon as you click the call button .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
more effective with work. send emails out quicker, allowing us more time to do other things that consist with the SDR roll

No-Brainer Prospecting Tool

  • February 20, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use the Salesforce integration extensively. I'm personally a huge fan of the ease of importing contacts and the automation rules.

Additionally, the cadence builder is intuitive and powerful. Having the ability to send an automated email based on the prospect's timezone just demonstrates SalesLoft's thoughtfulness when building a prospecting tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more thorough reporting and flexibility with steps. For example, I'd like to be able to create a call step for multiple opens/clicks in an email. Despite that, SalesLoft's automation rules allow you to build similar workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously lacked proper tracking for our leads and contacts and how they progressed through the Buyer's Journey. Now with SalesLoft, we can have our prospecting activities tracked easily in Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take advantage of the Salesforce integration. The automation rules can get complex and are incredibly powerful.
