Connecting directly with sales tools facilitates seamless outreach and messaging

What is our primary use case?

Currently, I am focusing on new business, so outreach is important, and cadences are very important.

What is most valuable?

Being able to set up the cadences in steps is very helpful, where it moves on to the next step, and also where it connects with SalesLoft Sales Navigator. So far, being able to connect directly, instead of switching back and forth to Sales Navigator, has worked well. Also, being able to send messages directly from SalesLoft through LinkedIn Sales Navigator messaging is very useful. I can do everything right from the SalesLoft page without continuously switching between SalesLoft and Sales Navigator.

What needs improvement?

Navigating through emails and LinkedIn messages to find which ones have been opened could be improved. I can see email open rates, but identifying who actually opened them is difficult. Possibly adding this functionality to the email tab or somewhere more user-friendly would be beneficial.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used the solution on and off for about six to seven years.

How are customer service and support?

SalesLoft's customer support has been really good. They are very quick to respond and try to help.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used Salesforce and other solutions in the past, but not at this company.

What other advice do I have?

Be precise about your cadences and make them your own. Being able to add or remove steps within the cadences to customize them is amazing. Also, make sure to name your cadences possibly by outreach type or company, to track your progress efficiently. I rate the overall solution an eight.

What do you like best about the product?
• The UI/UX is pretty appealing, I'll give them that.
What do you dislike about the product?
• First tool I've used in my tech stack with an extension goes "stale" you have to refresh all CRM and Salesloft related tabs in your browser to pull updates within the extension.
• A handful of features don't work properly (inbound calls, task reminders, data connectivity between apps (CRM, Sales Nav)
• Data updates like contact information sometimes does not update
• Analytics/metrics are faulty like email opens
• Lack of dynamic fields that i've seen in other dialers (i.e., more than 3 phone number/email fields, ability to mark numbers or emails as valid or invalid out of the box)
• Dialer is often slow at launching when making calls
• Browser extensions lack features and are bulky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing prospect/lead lists and handling VoIP outreach.

What do you like best about the product?
Cadences work great and the AI they've built into their templates is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Super clunky to set up. Conversations doesn't work at all. They sell it as a gong competitor. It doesn't even have the functionality of Zoom.
Their customer service is horrible. My company has been trying to get in touch with someone there for over 5 months with no response. Their online customer service ticketing automatically closes the case after 48 hours, regardless of if they have responded to your initial request or not. Its no wonder they continue to lose market share to top competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Biggest thing Salesloft provided is sales engagement and email tracking.

That I didn't know about them earlier. Certainly.

What do you like best about the product?
This is probably to date, the best outreach tool that i've used.

Has so many filtering capabilities based on what you are looking for from the people you have reached out to.

If you are an organized seller, you can really take advantage of the workflows that it provides in terms of contact filtration and making good lists from the data you have in the tool.

It has a decent learning curve for the advanced workflows but is an absolute game changer once you know how to use it to your advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
- I wish it had a little more fine grained filtering options for certain tabs that it currently does not have.

- Frequently, caller ID appears as "Scam Likely" on prospects phones. From what i've heard, Phoneburner doesn't have this issue.

- Texting is not seamless and is very manual when reaching out to prospects.

- Dropping voicemails has a delay and some of the messaging in the dropped voicemail gets lost.

- Would be great if there was a way to automatically drop the voicemail for you not having to toggle in after every dial ending. Would make the workflow much superior to how it is currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbounding at scale while staying organized and keeping track of outreach along with enhancing workflow when doing outreach.

Recording VMs is so great and getting to set a cadence is another wonderful feature
What do you dislike about the product?
When dates on cadences get thrown off course, it's not super user friendly to adjust as much as it could be

Salesloft helps me maintain a more efficient level of organization than if it weren't available and speeds up talk time when leaving a VM

What do you like best about the product?
Salesloft streamlines majority of my sales deals in an a unified, user friendly dashboard. I can easily track calls, emails, metrics, and follow ups all in one place! This has made my sales strategy massively efficient, leading to more deals won.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides thus far other than the ability to edit / cancel cadence groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesloft has solved my disjointed follow up method. I can now easily set reminders and be up to date with all my clients!

It is really really easy to use! I can build sequences, call, text, email... Literally everything that I need to do

sometimes it takes a sec to load the extension when typing a manual email but no big deal

A centralized place to manage all of my leads and accounts via email, phone, text, linkedin! It is easy to use and very stable
