Adding the right automations, you will have perfect Dev tool. Some things/boards are already preset and ready to start work. Very easy to use integrations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for bug tracking and general development tasks.
A bunch of narrowly developed ideas
What do you like best about the product?
It is accessible and easy to use, for a project management platform. Other than that, we can create deadlines and story points easily and integrate them into our system. We use it frequently and it always delivers.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, the document sharing feature is a bit clunky. I either want a github style renderer of the stored .md files or a word-like online editor with features. Here we get the worst of both worlds with the lack of markup usability and the enforcement of gui use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to share documents easily, and plan projects with the kanban.
very modular, versatile. Easy to customise

A huge improvement to our project and product management process
What do you like best about the product?
Monday Dev makes it much more seamless to create, track, monitor, and manage our backlog and sprints. It allows us to maintain an iterative approach our projects for an accelerated delivery of MVP, as well as manage what we have in our backlog. I appreciate the additional features that aren't available in WM! My direct team has almost entirely shifted to Dev and it is proving to be very successful. We were able to easily implement our processes there and integrate with our other systems for a seamless transition.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been several bugs we've seen, but those have since resolved. No complaints as of now! The issues were resolved quickly by support and that allowed us to continue moving forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formerly we were managing projects and product enhancements in a waterfall approach, which was causing serious issues to our backlog. By moving to Monday Dev, we are now tackling these in an iterative approach and we have been able to more successfully roll-out MVP solutions in a shorter timeframe, manage our backlog more efficiently, and effectively manage our roadmap in a more user friendly format.

Facilitates team coordination and streamlines project monitoring while offering valuable notifications
What is our primary use case?
We use monday.com on a daily basis for our to-do lists and to stay in touch with our team to see how projects are progressing. We have everything on monday.com for each project step, allowing us to monitor how things are going.
How has it helped my organization?
monday.com saves time and gets everyone on the same page within my team.
What is most valuable?
monday.com is easy to use, and making authorizations is straightforward. If there are any changes, I receive an email which is very useful because I don't check monday.com daily. Whenever something changes or my team makes updates, I get an email notification about it, which is quite useful. monday.com saves time and gets everyone on the same page within my team.
What needs improvement?
If monday.com was cheaper, that would be better because it's quite expensive.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
monday.com is stable. We only experienced downtime once, which lasted for almost an hour. It was a global issue, so neither monday.com nor us could do anything.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
monday.com is scalable. It is not hard to add another user.
How are customer service and support?
Although I never used their customer service, during the setup we received sufficient help and training sessions. I would rate their customer service a ten.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We used Trello before switching to monday.com. Trello was confusing and adding another person to our team was quite hard.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of monday.com is quite easy. We had someone from their team show us some basics, and they provided trainings.
What about the implementation team?
We received help from someone in their team for setup and training.
What was our ROI?
monday.com saves time and consolidates our team's progress in one place.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We pay almost 20K per year for approximately twenty users. It is quite expensive.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We used Trello before switching to monday.com.
What other advice do I have?
monday.com is not hard to use for adding another user, although it is really expensive. I would rate the overall solution a nine.
Effective project tracking enhances decision-making but requires improved subtask hierarchy
What is our primary use case?
I use
monday.com for project management. We worked on a project that required managing various groups working independently on separate aspects but contributing to the same project. We created groups and projects and tracked every task. We also used it as a communication tool and a place for feedback, where someone could comment on delays or issues.
What is most valuable?
The creation of tasks and subtasks is very effective in
monday.com. Grouping projects is also beneficial. However, I would like the ability to create more than two levels of subtasks. Additionally, I appreciate that monday.com helps in quick decision-making by facilitating communication on the go through the comment section and email alerts when someone comments. This feature helps in making decisions faster instead of waiting for stand-up meetings.
What needs improvement?
I would like to have the ability to create more than two levels of subtasks in monday.com. It was a significant challenge as I often wanted to make a task dependent on another group, but it was difficult. It would be more efficient if it were easier to establish dependencies across different groups.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with monday.com for about one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
monday.com was stable and reliable during my usage.
How are customer service and support?
I contacted support only to ask about subtasks. They informed me that the feature I wanted was not available, but I did not encounter any issue that required opening a support ticket.
How would you rate customer service and support?
How was the initial setup?
monday.com is easy to set up. However, for my project, it took a few hours due to its complexity and the need to handle several dependencies and subtasks.
What other advice do I have?
I recommend monday.com as a great tool for managing projects, especially those that depend on tasks with new tasks needing completion. It is reliable for tracking progress in real-time and for projects where different teams work on different parts that aggregate to the main project. I rate monday.com as seven out of ten due to the need for improvement in creating more than two levels of subtasks and dependency management across groups.
Seems Good but Costly
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Monday Dev for managing my clients for work but it seems like not very comfortable to use like Jira or Trello.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costs, Complexity and so many annoying checks make things so difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In managing teams, assigning tasks it was good.
A reliable tool for agile teams
What do you like best about the product?
Monday Dev is intuitive, highly flexible, and great for team collaboration. Its intelligent automation and seamless GitHub and Jira integrations streamline workflows for a smoother project management experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features have a learning curve, especially for complex workflows, and advanced tools are locked behind premium plans, which may not suit smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Dev simplifies bug tracking and product management by centralizing tasks, boosting visibility, and improving team collaboration. Automation reduces manual work, and integrations streamline workflows, helping to save time and enhance efficiency.
