What do you like best about the product?
I like how monday dev combines flexibility with structure. The customizable boards, multiple views (Kanban, Gantt, timeline), and automations make it easy to adapt workflows to our team’s needs without losing clarity. I also appreciate the seamless collaboration features—comments, mentions, and real-time updates keep everyone aligned, even across different time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
While monday dev is powerful, some advanced features require a bit of a learning curve to set up effectively. The pricing can also be high for smaller teams, especially if you need access to premium views or automations. Additionally, offline functionality is limited, which can be challenging when working without a stable internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday dev helps us centralize and streamline bug tracking and project management for highly technological projects and complex platforms. It allows our team to log, prioritize, and monitor issues in real time while keeping all related documentation and discussions in one place. The customizable workflows and automations ensure that critical bugs are addressed quickly, while the multiple project views make it easy to track progress across different development streams. This has improved our response time, reduced miscommunication, and increased overall project efficiency.
Helped get dev team organised and our sprints running like clockwork
What do you like best about the product?
Before using monday we were using a kanban view and projects just never moved. Since switching to Monday - first the normal work management platform and then going to Dev workspace has increased productivity in leaps and bounds. Real time views of how projects are tracking and makes sprint planning so much easier. We use this platform on a daily basis and has become the foundation of the team. It was so easy to implement and to understand - really a very user friendly experience and could easily integrate with our other platforms like outlook mail and calendar. The customer support is phenomenal and they have never not been able to assist me with a query
What do you dislike about the product?
because we rely so heavily on the system, the odd downtime freaks everyone out. but luckily it is never for a long period of time and has happened only twice since we started using it

Time management and Planning mostly
Breeze of use, world of difference
What do you like best about the product?
Monday Dev has made tracking our progress on system development much easier, as well as allowing for an easy to read flow for our stakeholders. Dev has become a daily user in the department, and operates similar to Monday Work Management, so implementation was a breeze! Customer support is also easy to contact, with quick response times and fast solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it's very similar to Work Management, some of the cross-board automations are difficult to conduct. Unique triggers for Dev workflows could also be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working to develop our Salesforce instance, working on developing new features and fixing bugs.
Buggy and slow
What do you like best about the product?
The different board views and being able to filter by many categories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of bugs, such as unable to open ticket unless I refresh. Sorting tickets by person sometimes shows other random tickets. Moving and completing sprints is slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company forced me to use it, personally I prefer Jira .
Monday Dev is an excellent tool to manage all projects regarding the food restaurant industry.
What do you like best about the product?
Helping to stay on task. Keep everyone on the team focused and organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay for certain add on's when they should be apart of the programs. If these are good tools, Monday should incorporate them.

By allowing my team to work together cohesively.

Monday overall is a very solid project management tool, that offers a wide range of features.
Particularly, the easy way to drag and drop / move items from board to board is very convenient. It helps my team and myself a lot to keep our workflows organised and visible. Many things can be automated, 3rd party tool integration is great (i.e. sync via Google calendar). The API is useful, especially data extraction endpoints.

What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics capabilities are limited to 20 boards at a time. We're heavy Monday users and we organise in many boards and projects. The 20 boards limit applied to all dashboards requires us to build our analytics outside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have great visibility on how, on what the team is working. Easy ability to track progress and status updates. (Via API data endpoints)

It can sometimes make things slightly complex If you dont know your way around.

Helps with getting things done and not leaving things behind
Agile project management with robust features, but comes with a learning curve and higher cost

The platform supports Agile methodologies with built-in tools for sprint management, Kanban boards, retrospectives, and roadmap planning, enabling teams to plan, track, and iterate efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
While monday dev is powerful, it does have a steeper learning curve for advanced features and complex customizations, which can be time-consuming for new users or teams unfamiliar with such platforms. Very limited actions in the Standard plan.

It has templates to manage projects using Agile, Kanban or custom methods.
Monday dev is a great add-on to Work management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the features to manage sprints and team workload. The template out of the box is super easy to use and helped us improving our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the gitlab integration would work better, we struggle to have a link workingbetween gitlab and Monday.com
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us organise our planned tasks and last minute request. I enjoy how easy it is to create dashboard/reports for senior leadership.
Monday.com ideal for startups
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is the most used platform in our organisation. It's great for making our processes and workflows, it is flexible and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance of the user interface can be slow at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us run our Scrum process for developing our products, we use it for customer relationship management and controlling common business processes. It also helps us to easily create dashboards and track KPIs.
