Powerful and intuitive platform for tracking and engaging your community
What do you like best about the product?
Common Room makes it incredibly easy to identify and engage with the people who matter most across all of our digital touchpoints. The interface is intuitive, the insights are actionable, and the way it pulls together data from different channels gives a full picture of our community. I’ve especially appreciated how easy it is to set up workflows to track engagement, tag users by segment, and take action quickly. The sales and support team has also been great any time I’ve had a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there’s not much to dislike. If I had to name something, I’d say reporting and analytics could go a bit deeper for power users. While the current dashboards are clean and helpful, having more customizable metrics or advanced filtering options would make it even more powerful—especially for larger-scale campaigns or stakeholder reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Common Room helps us centralize and make sense of all the conversations, mentions, and engagements happening across platforms. Before using it, we had no easy way to identify high-value contributors, track sentiment, or engage with users in a meaningful and timely way. Now, we’re able to prioritize outreach, segment our community based on activity or influence, and act on real-time insights. It’s saved countless hours we used to spend manually monitoring channels and has directly improved how we support users, nurture advocates, and spot opportunities early.
Extremely helpful and Visual
What do you like best about the product?
Common Room has been the absolute #1 tool that I use on a day to day basis with prospecting. We have a large, warm ecosystem of customers who we want to try to offer our enterprise offering for. Common room allows me to easily find these current customers and identify their usage, and then directly reach out via outreach sequence by enrolling them right from there. It's colorful, and visual, and makes the prospecting process so easy. I don't know what i would do without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is very specific, but when I click the, sort filters column, it resets the entire page, which is really annoying for losing my place in reports, but this could be easily fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me to easily identify who my most active customers are and do it in a visually engaging way. It also allows me to easily and directly push to outreach sequence from there.
Great product for prospecting
What do you like best about the product?
It helps streamline my prospecting efforts. I've been able to cut my prospecting time in half and produce more results and focus on the other parts of my sales motion. I use the tool every day. You can build complex segments to find subsets of prospects based on your companies data. Overall I highly recommend this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It often lacks the email and phone data of something like a ZoomInfo, so I still need to use these tools side by side. Building segments has a learning curve, sometimes it's not as easy as i'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's reducing the number of sales tools and screen jumping involved in prospecting. It's helped save time and allows me to complete daily prospecting much faster.

Finding if an net new acccount are intereacting with our open source tools
Great one stop shop for signals on high priority accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to create segments that align with the highest intent signals for the product I am selling is huge. It's a great one stop shop for me to see their social interactions with the product as well, and see their usage as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slow to load sometimes, and the AI functionality isn't super obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides information on product usage and intent signals in a simple, easy to navigate way. I have one place I can go to in order to see product usage, socials interaction, their job history, and relevant info on their company.
Making outreach quick and efficient & most importantly to the right people!
What do you like best about the product?
I am a very active user of the CommonRoom segments. Really allows me to set specific filters and triggers and turn it into a list of hot prospects to go after at the right time. Love how you can add tags to different personas to make the filtering process easy within your company.
Also great that in the same tool I can see important highlights I need about a company & prospecting, instead of jumping from tool to tool - really saves me a good chunk of time as a BDR.

What do you dislike about the product?
At the start I was a little overwhelmed by all the things you can do in the tool, but with trainings and time you quickly start to find the most relevant for you pieces and make a smooth workflow with automation & integrations with slack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our team the main point is time saving and efficiency, which allows us to scale up our outreach and get to more potential customers. It's also taking away from tool sprawl which is a globally big challenge nowadays. This really improves the team's work conditions.

Streamlining our Prospecting in 3 easy steps
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that based on a couple of settings, it can detect valuable prospects and capture buying signals, allowing us to do high-value personalized reach-outs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would love if it had automated outreaching options, but this can be solved with one of the partner add-on tools they use.

It is supporting us with detecting the right leads, saving us hours of prospecting a week.
Signal stack prospecting all in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Allows our team to prioritize prospecting with signals across different applications all in one place (data warehouse, LinkedIn, salesforce, hubspot etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slack alerts are limited to default fields and are not customizable. We've raised this with their team, and it has been added as a feature request. Some other integrations such as Salesforce and Hubspot are not as robust, but we have built workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps our reps easily identify ICP prospects to prioritize and reach out. It is great that Common Room is associated with enrichment providers and can us identify email and phone number details without the need to utilize other providers
Great platform for signal based, warm outbound

Noisy-ness can have times of ups and downs.
