If you aren't using Common Room and have a PLG motion, you are doing PLG wrong.

What do you like best about the product?
Common Room gives my team a single interface to see how my community is performing and ways to automate interactions based on the data they collect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Common Room is still early in development, so it has a lot of room to grow by adding new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Common Room aggregates all the interaction points of my community and tells me what people and organizations are active, who has recently become inactive, helps me identify potential advocates and allows me to better support my community through their adoption journey.

Common Room is the real deal!

What do you like best about the product?
Besides the second-to-one customer service that Common Room provides, its platform is user-friendly and the data analytics that it provides are exceptional. In particular, I love the Reporting tab of their platform. It allows me to look at my community data across each platform and then segment that data based on various filters. It has changed the game for us at Culture Amp because our goal is to continue building for efficiency and scale. Common Room's platform has allowed us to do that in a methodical and intentional way.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area of growth for Common Room is to host more webinars about its product and its new features. The company is often pushing out new features. As a customer, at times, it can be overwhelming on knowing how to best adopt certain features, some of the best practices, or benchmarking against your peers. I'm hoping as the company grows it'll consider hosting webinars that allow us customers to optimize our experience using the platform so we can better grow and scale our own communities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem that Common Room is solving is helping Community programs actually show real and impactful data on how Community programs are impacting business-level goals. Theoretically, we know good things happen when the community comes together. We know a community is a right thing that organizations should be doing in order to remain competitive in this global marketplace. Common Room helps me go to my leadership and show that impact in real, tangible numbers. In return, this helps me advocate for additional resources for my community programs.

What do you like best about the product?
Real time insights into who's who in my community. As I grow the content, programing, and membership, it is essential that I have the ability to find the right member, right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Common Room ships new features faster than I can implement them. Sometimes this makes me feel like I'm behind on giving my community the best experience possible, but by no means is this a knock on the folks over there. I also always have an incredible CSM who helps to get me up to speed, and make sure I'm doing what I need to stay on top of all the new value they continue to ship.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Common Room demonstrates the impact and direct correlation my community has on my company's core business objectives - including, but not limited to, top-line revenue.

Common Room has been a game changer in mores ways than one!

What do you like best about the product?
One of the reasons why I am such a fan of Common Room is its ease of use. Common Room gives you a perfect snapshot of the data you need to make better-informed decisions for the community you work with. Plus, their team is amazing and really listens to their users for product feedback and ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can really think of at the moment is their pricing. They do offer a free tier which is great and offers most of what a smaller community might need, but I can see where communities who need more might be priced out of what their current plans offer. Having said that, their team seems to be super flexible in working with you on finding a solution for budgeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To me, they are fixing the pain points that many Community Managers experience in showcasing the ROI of the communities they serve in. The Common Room platform is making it easier for Community Managers to see the data they need, make actionable steps (right in the platform), and showcase all the great things happening.
