We really appreciate how seamlessly time and expense features are integrated, making the system very easy to use.

The drop-down menus and processes are not very user-friendly.

I find Deltek Costpoint to be extremely efficient for project administration and invoicing. It helps us accurately and efficiently bill in accordance with government contracts, which is crucial for our operations. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the ease of handling time and expense entries, making it straightforward to ensure compliance with government contract requirements. Overall, the software significantly streamlines our billing processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

I find Deltek Costpoint's expense module to be a little cumbersome.

Budget in Accounting can only show one view we like MoverM, YoverY, Budget to Actuals and Reforecast
Budget on planning side needs a lot of info that is easier to copy and paste from excel

I like Deltek Costpoint for its robust reporting capabilities and its customizability, which are invaluable for effectively managing accounting within the government contracting sector. The software allows me to gain detailed insights into project performance by analyzing actuals versus budgets and drilling down into revenue and expenses. This level of transparency and compliance support is crucial for overseeing projects efficiently. Furthermore, the implementation team provided a great experience during the initial setup, making the transition smooth and hassle-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the bank reconciliation and cash forecasting features of Deltek Costpoint to be lacking in user-friendliness and insightfulness. Specifically, the cash forecasting does not provide projections, which makes it unhelpful for forecasting needs.

I use Deltek Costpoint for compliance and transparency, leveraging its customizable reporting to monitor projects against budgets and dissect revenue and expenses.
