What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful about CostPoint is it crosses several departments within one big platform. There is a module for each aspect of Government Contracting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful is not all of the modules talk to each other to make streamlining more effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems Deltek are solving is the ability to have a data repository better features that talk across platforms

Excellent reporting. Ease of use. Continuous improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's cumbersome going between screens to complete tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I am pleasantly surprised with the Contracts module, and the ability to capture applicable FAR/DFARS.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could drill down from one module to another without having to open another session.

Accounting for segregation of costs.
Complete Solution for GovCon Accounting
What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint allows you to generate project based invoices with ease. The system is very flexible to your business model. The timekeeping module is great for maintaining a DCAA compliant system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costpoint does take some time for users to be proficient. If you've been using the system for a while you learn tips and tricks to, but the learning curve is steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Costpoint has many features that help us with DCAA compliance. Indirect rate calculations are also easy in Costpoint once you set them up. We've been able to reduce the time it takes to prepare our incurred cost submission by building business intelligence reports that mirror the schedules from the DCAA model.

What do you like best about the product?
Fundamentally the best product to spread indirects to direct projects... This one feature for job costing is an industry leading capability. Not a better solution for this requirement.

Interface needs help...to hard to use... good news Deltek knows this!!! working it!!
