What do you like best about the product?
Strong user community and learning zone to help you answer the How something could be done working the systems - very configurable.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX it is getting better but has a long way to go - to many clicks to get to where you need to be - lots of in and out of screens to accomplish a process

Deltek announced an integration platform that will help the sharing of data in and out of costpoint with 3rd party applications

It combines all areas of business in one software.

It can be a challenge to set up and have all modules function completely.

Comprehensive product for GovCons. Current product version much better than previous version

Integration of modules within product. Still need to push data from one module to another .

What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a great system for project based companies. Many things other ERPs have to be customized to handle are handled by default in Costpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always intuitive for end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an admin, I don't see all of the problems of the business, but usually Costpoint can handle what users need or we can figure out a way to handle it.

Meets our govt contract needs. pars are extremely helpful

Trading could be more tailored to our needs

What do you like best about the product?
I love how CP automatically generates correct invoices that are CPFF or T&M based on contractual requirements. Makes project based accounting easy!

Navigation can be hard at times. But search function helps.

Cost pools, workforce on projects to help control charging, rate sequences to control T&M rates.
Costpoint gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Customization is the selling point for Costpoint. You have the option to do more than you currently need which makes it scalable.
What do you dislike about the product?
You often need an expert to consult in certain modules due to the complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Government contracting, DCAA compatibility.
It has been a great experience and I have already learned many things.
