Great product that continues to evolve with their customer's needs
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and all the integrated products. All in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's tricky with some of the maintenance releases and bugs. We usually stay a few revisions behind until the kinks are worked out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fully integrated system that delivers on all work streams from cradle to grave
Easy to use. Great solution for Gov Contractors
What do you like best about the product?
Control over costs and reporting (Project Account Groups, Labor Defaults, cost pool setup ). Vendor account defaults are easy to set up and makes the voucherinf process easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canned reports are limited and excel format is not good. Some screens are limited to one user. Could use more capability to support the Incurred Cost Submission
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Government compliance, multi company capabilities, floor check email reminders. This makes us more productive and efficient, as well as accurate and compliant.

Deltek is simply the best in the industry for compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some system knowledge takes a long time to develop

Deltek Costpoint helps us manage our information across all our departments and business groups.

What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a great software that can be used across your business. Keep your accounting, expense, time, etc all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX but it's being assessed and updated. Harmony is going to be great for Costpoint
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of project set up and entry. Less time spent on project set up and more time on other tasks
Costpoint has been a reliably effective tool that I’ve seen several companies benefit from.

Costpoint's user interface makes project accounting easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the screens don't flow smoothly as you would expect in a high end app.

Deltek solves the issues we have with integrating an ERP system with the finance and accounting systems.

What do you like best about the product?
How clean the data looks instead of it being messy, very organized
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customized reports for specific requests, auditor assignments

Snapshot of project activity instead of looking at 7 different reports
Solid Solution - Needs to be easier to use
What do you like best about the product?
That they are an industry leader and the software is upgraded yearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they were a little more ahead of the curve with creating new features in the software that already available with competitors.

Compliant time and expense - saves us from running into issues during audits
Costpoint for Govcons
What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a robust platform for government contracts. Project management and other modules work well to keep financial data and compliance working well. I recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be complex and recommend good training to get users to use consistently.

We are helping our clients optimize Costpoint and generating new customers.
Not a better ERP for project based accounting. Super excited for the upgrades next year!
