Proven government accounting solutions
What do you like best about the product?
Project-based cost accounting system and user friendly interface
What do you dislike about the product?
The capability of tracking cost outside of Account, project and org. i.e., cost location,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Government-compliant cost capturing, billing and cost allocation, which is not offered by many other ERP systems
An amazing experience
What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint does nearly everthing your government contracting entity would need, from indirect rate processing to detailed cost reporting by projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some applications and modules don't work as effectively as anticipated upon rollout, though this has become less of an issue in recent years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deltek's Cognos and BI reporting as saved our team tremendous amounts of time in being able to analyze data effectively with minimal effort to create.
The system is very intuitive, and provides our company with everything that we need.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the system; the modules are very intuitive; Deltek support is excellent!
What do you dislike about the product?
With some of the upgrades there have been a few bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is known throughout the Government Contract world, so it is familiar when working with DCAA auditors.

DCAA Compliant, so best product to use for large companies to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Costpoint is not user-friendly like other ERP systems

We're trying to solve the compliant Purchasing system to get more certifications

Consistent user interface logic and very robust help files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations in some functionality, especially org security in some Costpoint applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Utilized by the accounting department and providing the organization with all required aspects of keeping the organization's finances in order.

What do you like best about the product?
Built for government contractor accounting. Extensibilities make it easy to implement proprietary business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deltek Time is old fashioned looking and challenging to use for those not overly familiar with Costpoint

Enables us to perform federal government compliant project accounting

What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a user-friendly EPR system that keeps you in compliance with the Govt.
What do you dislike about the product?
A downside to Costpoint, at times, is its flexability. Although its rules tend to keep you honest and avoid mistakes

Costpoint is working weel in the management & payment of subcontractors
The sssions are fantastic I just wish the conference was longer so I could take more.

It is a user friendly software that provides all the functionality required for government contractors.

Opening business intelligence can be very slow and often fails

Easy setup. Full management for Gov't contracting including Indirect Rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Various HELP, DLZ, etc. are not as helpful as required to learn new features.

Tracking and managing acconting records for both GAAP and DCAA standards.

The constant changes of where the capability exists in the system.
