What do you like best about the product?
Deltek Costpoint allows you house all company data in one place. It also gives you a centralized way to manage all your projects without requireing you to use multiple software programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Deltek Costpoint is continuing to add new features and capabilities, waiting for some enhancements can be strenuous on company resources at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility of projects over all.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a customizable environment that can tailor to your needs. It works well in its own environment and helps us complete our tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little hard to get exactly the experience you want but you can get a close approximation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to view our data amalgamation easily and create reports on the items we need to expand our business.
We have been on Deltek products for 20+ years and have found the software easy to use and flexible.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the system is flexible and easy to use. We appreciate the updates and improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Communication on defects and concerns when pushing new releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improvements to time and billing. The Government requires cumbersome data.
Robust Powerful System
What do you like best about the product?
Deltek does a great job in providing tools to help your business deliver for your clients. The different modules and connections help our organization be more efficient and great solutions to drive overall profitability
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is clunky. Other systems out there have moved over to more approachable UIs. I think instagram CP starts moving in that direction, they will continue getting market share.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us get hand jam spreadsheets into a system where we can automate it. Saves people time and provides accuracy
Deltek Costpoint Users 8 is years plus
What do you like best about the product?
Deltek Costpoint is a great Accounting tool for government contractors. It is one of the best systems to comply with the DCAA audit, FAR, and GAAP regulations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The help menu is not very helpful and I think there is room for improvement. Also, the charge tree application is not as friendly as it could be & improvement is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deltek Costpoint is assiting users to manage accounting, project transactions, and time and expenses in one system.
Beginner to CostPoint
What do you like best about the product?
As a newbie, I really appreciate all the training available to help me understand & navigate through system. These trainings aid me to complete my tasks & responsibilities. Thanks again!

Again as a newbie to government contracts, I would like to see tutorials or more in depth resources, if they don't already exist. Thank you

Deltek CP has helped me generate reports with vital info necessary to support my team
Connected Systems with Powerful Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way everything is connected in Deltek Costpoint. I also enjoy the reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more table names and joins to be provided for each form in Deltek Costpoint. There's always a struggle with the first time setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Deltek Costpoint for financial system and timesheet entry; it solves all daily work for timesheets, expenses, and financial data. I like how everything is connected and how well the reporting works.
Costpoint Deltek Great ERP
What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a great ERP system that is perfect for small or large businesses. Any company that is working with the government should pick Deltek as its accounting system. It can support projects, forecasting, subcontracting, accounts payable, dashboarding, and everything else you would expect in an accounting system. The company has invested a lot in making T&E more user friendly and spending time on making it more user friendly for our field employees to ensure timesheet compliance and making expense reports easier to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is one area I would have Deltek invest more in is the forecasting area is clunky and one of the areas Deltek has spent the least amount of time on. On the flip side it works and is great to have in one ERP package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing custom dashboarding to help support executive decision making. Allowing a one-stop shop for the whole business including staying DCAA compliant and having a very robust indrect buildup and project based that can give you a lot of information and accountability at the project level.
Best Project Based ERP System
What do you like best about the product?
Provides the best solution for Government contractors who are Project Based
What do you dislike about the product?
The Support has not been up to pair, the customer support reps, are not helpful lately

What do you like best about the product?
Deltek Costpoint incorporated all facets of Gov Contracting and is always looking for ways to improve their solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
At time, patches or fixes are released which cause secondary issues that are not identified ahead of time.
