Costpoint can be designed and used for multiple needs in the gov con industry

It is not intuitive for the end user. Wish it worked better for construction

What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a robust ERP system that efficiently integrates all the backoffice functions AND then turns it into valuable data reporting to those that make decisions affecting operations. Deltek has invested in acquiring or partnering with software for industry specific modules. I can get everything I need in Costpoint or connected with Costpoint to utilize the data we've already collected.
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually love Costpoint but training a Quickbook user to a system with constraints and rules can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Costpoint helps us complete the financial reporting at a project level at minimum but collects the data needed to meet all government contracting requirements and filings. The connection to IBM Business Intelligence is icing on the cake!

Able to interact with several systems. The ability to house many companies and modules all in one place.

I wish it were more user friendly for your "everyday" user. Advanced excel skills are a must.
