Hard to navigate, need to use CP on a daily basis in order to become really competent in the use of CP

Too many clicks to drill down to subtasks details.

Building material resource planning tool to capture on demand needs and automation of PRs.

What do you like best about the product?
The new User Experience on 8.2. Easier viewing and recent activity options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigating in 8.0 is horrible, as if you want to navigate efficiently it requires to favorite your links.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our invoicing, MRP, Supplier onboarding, and project management.

Great platform to capture and house data
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see each costpoint module communicate more fluidly. I see a lot of potential with reporting but we find it easier to pull data from CP and build our own reports. I'm hopeful CP will be able to provide these reports one day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Costpoint is huge for capturing and housing all of our expenses. This allows us to accurately budget and forecast individual projects and and roll information up to report on a company wide level.

It allows for us to have some customizable options. Overall works well for us.

Takes a little while to get movement on known defects

Too much focus on rolling out shiny new things instead of fixing current issues.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that I can pick when I want to upgrade to a new version. The upgrade to the Deltek Learning Hub has been nice, and I've noticed they're really working to push out new KB articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Costpoint universe is HUGE! It would be nice to have some basic visuals/workflows that we can provide new users to try and conceptualize how everything is interconnected.
