As a contractor working with the Government contracts, Deltek Costpoint is an important tool .
What do you like best about the product?
Provides a overall accounting soloution for Government Contractors
What do you dislike about the product?
Deltek Costpoint can be a little too much for small companies and can be complex to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a unififed accounitng and contracting package.
Customer service very supportive of our uses

We use time & expense module daily a must for our GovConWire business
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrade to 8.2 had some hiccups for users but again customer service support great

The user interfaces are easy to use. They follow a workflow pattern.

I would like the ability to choose a theme for my space. Similar to what Microsoft offers.

It's making it easier for us to track information and create relevant reports.
Costpoint, Materials and Cost Acctg
What do you like best about the product?
Costpoint is a comprehensive ERP software that support project oriented businesses. In comparison to other softwares it is highly configurable and allows users to incorporate their business rules. Project visibility is the "best" feature in Costpoint. Being able to view your Project's overall health with a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Stability of new releases and the introduction of "defects" to back functionality is Costpoints biggest issue.

What do you like best about the product?
Integration with our Deltek Financial systems
What do you dislike about the product?
Issues with Deltek Talent Management System particularly I9. When not utilizing standard documents driver's license and SS cars and using Visa/Green card system has issues feeding to Everify
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deltek states it's a know issue no resolution
Amazing customer support with friendly UI
What do you like best about the product?
Prompt and helpful customer support when in need. Easy to nevigate and can be integrated with many systems. I also love that it is very user friendly and 'help' function is always there to solve many mysteries before reaching out to customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when job is submitted to queue, it would be stuck and always needing Deltek to troubleshoot for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it consolidates data accurately to a project view (helps analyzing how we are doing with our target rate vs actual after fairly easy process)

Hard to find documentation/support which makes it difficult to take harness its full potential

Inability to add future hours is a notable pain point.

What do you like best about the product?
Help function to use as a resource for finding information, how to/purpose of modules and screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expense is a time suck to do in Costpoint Time and expense and worse for mobile version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enhancements with interactive emails, this feature would be great to benefit managers when my employer rolls out 8.2 update.
