Veeam backup Replication Best for Vmware ESXI
What do you like best about the product?
backup features is very powerful, its compress and calculate the space of storage very well, on backup and restore without lost the bit at all, 100% of backup can restore effectively without lost the data/information inside the VM at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
its a bit heavy setup on the backup server, if in the future veeam can reduce the file setup and use less cpu, ram resource on the backup server would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
previously we are using vm snapshot features of vmware, since we start using veeam replication backup its perform faster and can backup every night, weekly, daily and monthly, also it can perform the banwidth calculation before backup its not interupt the speed of the global network bandwidth in the switch. this mean while backing up the VM of ESXI the user can still access to internet and working properly.

The best feature of Veeam is the ease of setup and use. Once you create the jobs, recovering the data in case needed is straightforward and reliable.

Slow startup of the application is what I don't like. But in General, Veeam is an excellent product.

Perfect solution for quick restoration
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is the perfect solution for the auto-backup process. We wanted to implement the auto backup solution for moving our primary VMs to DR site automatically.
Since the VMs sizes are very large, management had decided to move the data in nite time. So our IT team purchased a Veeam backup solution, which helps to move automatically and sends the notification after completion. Veeam backup is user-friendly solution. Learning process also not hard and anyone can work with that. we have been using this veeam for over four years, and veeam sends the daily notifications to IT admins email account. the restoration process also won't take much time. Just a couple of steps carry out the backup restore process. Very reliable software.

I have no negative comments about Veeam solution, which works well for us. Compared with other products, veeam prices are bit high. so small business organizations may face difficulties to buy

1) Veeam is solving lot of problems, which reduces the work lot, As our server backups are scheduled to nite time no human involvement is not required.

Veeam Smooth Backups
What do you like best about the product?
Using Veeam Backup and replication from several years to backup VM's and physical servers is very reliable. The tool guarantees that it can back up the information quickly and easily. Veeam has genuinely been an excellent purchase for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
All features and support are best. Great Backup tool.

Overall it's a good product for all your backup needs.
Great Backup and Replication Software
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, works great with physical boxes and VMs, reliable, easy to use. For the most part this software just works. When it doesn't they have great support. Great support. Easy to migrate to a system if you need to upgrade or reconfigure the machine it is running on. Works great with VMware. Great for providing protection of data and VMs for easy recovery of files deleted or complete VMs if they crash or become infected. Able to restore VMs from backups. With version 11 the ability to restore physical machines to a VM. NAS backups were added in version 10. Since Veeam is one of the best companies on the market there is lots of online help from the Veeam forums to reddit, as well as lots of other resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licenses get expensive if you have a lot of machines to protect. Monitoring requires Veeam One, which also requires an additional charge. Basically, you would end up paying for two licenses per machine you are backing up. The dislikes are very minor and wouldn't make me switch to another software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of how to backup VMs, as well as some physical servers and PCs. With this software we are able to repliably prevent data loss. Helps get clients backup up and running quickly since we use it mostly with VMware. When it setup and working it works very well. Disaster recovery is one of the main reasons we use this software, but it is also great for restoring files that accidently get deleted by end users. We have been able to successfully recover from corupt VMs due to ransomware and bad windows updates since we are using this software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using a virtual environment, then this is great software. Easy to get servers backed up and replicated, which makes disaster recovery much easier. Great support when it is needed. Easy to upgrade to new versions when they are released. Works well with VMware. Supports ESXi version from at least 5.5 to the current version. NAS backups is now included.

What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is an excellent product for backup and replication. It is an easy-to-use tool that is also reliable and does not break the bank. It has considerably improved our ability to recover from a disaster and improve our uptime.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, Veeam Backup and Replication is the best product; I have problems with this software. The support needs to improve a bit, though.

Veeam Backup and Replication have allowed us to improve our uptime, and the easy-to-use interface has made us more confident in case of a disaster.
Veeam backup for Microsoft O365
What do you like best about the product?
I am using veeam backup replication for my Vmware machine backup and this veeam help me very quickly restore file based and vm machine. I also started use veeam backup for Microsoft O365 sharepoint backup, in the begining i had some trouble taking backup for sites then i took technical support from veeam and my issue fixed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like veeam's showed alert messages due to they are not as event id so that is not easy to find solve trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My need for tape backup has disappeared and it has solved my work with much faster backup and restore from backup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think would be technical webpage not as form website and errors would be as event id as Microsoft to solve problems easly.

More features . Veeam office 365 backups still lacks so many features .

Solid product, easy recovery options for full disk, image or file-level.
What do you like best about the product?
I found this product reasonably easy to install and configure. The backups can be configured to optimize backup disk usage if space is a concern. The console allows for groups making managing multiple sites, business units or departments much easier. The recovery options are quite robust. Anything from a bare-metal restore to a file-level recovery is possible without too much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
In very large scale deployments, multiple servers are needed to provide enough compute and bandwidth to complete backups in a reasonable time frame. This can place a lot of additional financial burden on companies so they can afford the physical or virtual resources necessary. This also adds a level of complexity but isn't too bad. If using incremental backups, recovery times can be lengthy. Not very helpful when you need a quick turnaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam allows for full, bare metal system recovery, so in the event of a catastrophic hardware failure a system can be recovered on another disparate host or cluster. This aids in and to some degree makes the DR planning and execution a bit easier. What is also a great feature is the ability to launch a system directly from the Veeam storage.

Veeam Backup and Replication is easy to setup and configure and it just works. When there is a problem, their support is fast and knowledgeable.

The feature set is rich and can be overwhelming, but they do have plenty of training materials. It just will take some time to go through them all.

Backups are critical for data security and business continuity. Veeam Backup and Replication solves both of these with one solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend setting up a repository server with a drive using ReFS to take advantage of the inherent duplication that Veeam ha6d with that file system.
