Veeam backup
What do you like best about the product?
an amazing tool to use, we are using Veeam Bacup solution, a nice backup tool for running multiple jobs with scheduled tasks and monitor them in single console.
Set email configuration to receive alert when backup jobs failed or completed.

Veeam is simple to install, configure, and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are always new bugs with new release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simple and Easy Backup and Recovery Option
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Veeam is simple to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Error reports could be improved but overall I like it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Veeam to back up our server cluster and VMs. It has successfully backed up for over a year and we have not had to adjust settings. It just works!
Excellent backup for on prem and cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is very customisable and works like a charm with our on-prem and cloud infrastructure. We have NAS's, tape and remote backup and recovery is simple and fast.
Support are generally good and have helped out quickly when we have required assistance.
Community Editions are great for testing out new backup systems, we used the cloud version to test Azure backups then moved over to Veeam full time after 3 months of testing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Per socket pricing can bring the price up depending on your hosts and how many CPUs you have on your hosts.
Looking forward to subscription liceising in the future.
Version 10 is clunky but upgrading to Version 11 for Backup and Replication did help the interface.

Version 10 is clunky but upgrading to Version 11 for Backup and Replication did help the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Old legacy backup copies to external hard drives and using the community edition for many years. The community edition was "ok" for 10 VMs but once we moved to newer systems our VMs list grew and having the support apart from the forums using the community editions has been a real help when moving over the paid version.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a look. Can be pricey depending on your infrastructure and what you have running, but works very well and tested with recovering from a NAS and Tape and recovery is always successful.
Great product with great support
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setting up the product to do our backups. We did not have anything to backup our Hyper-V machines when I arrived here and I quickly got with Veeam and used the free version. After a short time we purchased the full version and the transition was seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight learning curve, but it is easily overcome by reading their documents and talking to support. I really cannot say anything negative
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have the ability to backup our environment. Before using Veeam the place I work for did snapshots only. I showed them why this was bad and why Veeam was the best solution for us. We now have multiple copies of our environment which we could use for recovery if necessary.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a very good product for the price
Easy to use, super reliable Backup Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Once everything is setup, it just works. I regularly check on my backups and once it was happy, no erros, just backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup took a bit of time, but no more complicated than Backup Exec which we used before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup Exec was clunky and failed often. Veeam needs much less care & feeding.
We use Veeam for vmware vms

What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is one of the best backup tools in the market sometimes is little expensive

High rate of good backups, easy to restore
Veeam Backup & Replication was designed for VMWare so it just works seamlessly with vSphere.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use graphical interface inventory of vSphere VMs and quickly create AdHoc backups to a preconfigured destination.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to implement a storage solution that works with Veeam, whether direct-attached or remote storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the Veeam Community edition, I am able to backup 10 of our most critical virtual servers now while waiting for a permanent solution.

Backup Data Office
What do you like best about the product?
Schedule corporate backups and keep file history for a specified period
What do you dislike about the product?
In the community version it is not possible to create incremental backups and the backup reports do not indicate which files have been saved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I always have backups under control and the advantage of having a history
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't need incremental backups, the community edition is great
