Has quirks but it works
What do you like best about the product?
Once you know what you're doing and understand its quirks, it's a very powerful tool. Sometimes you have to do "hacky" type stuff to make something work (like to be able to put bar charts inside your table), but the fact that you're able to manipulate the software to do this is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't overly intuitive software to use. A lot of times, when you want to adjust a column or row in the table you're creating, it's quite cumbersome and not easy to navigate to be able to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am visualizing the data for end-users. I do like that we can provide definitions of the measures via tooltips and reference materials for our end-users. It's nice to keep things consistent
Very good BI tool especially when we talk about maps
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Tableau is to use, and its maps' beautiful and dynamic. We really like the integrations with Google Spreadsheets, Google BigQuery, MySQL, among others.
What do you dislike about the product?
We sometimes have difficulty transforming data using Tableau Prep. We prefer to do this using an intermediate python script outside of Tableau. They could improve on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create internal dashboards for our team, also create products for B2C and B2B. We like that the dashboards look very lovely, and through Tableau Online, every team person can access and apply filters.
Tableau review
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to query the data using sql operations and join multiple tables and visualize the same. It also offers dynamic functions in terms of selection and filtering, which comes quite handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of support provided by the tool in upgrading an individual to an expert level is minimum. I would appreciate it if ways were ensured wherein a user could explore the tool to the best potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking impactful decisions for business by interpreting data forecasts, saves time in analyzing data and preparing reports on day to day basis

Use this for creating advanced reports, scheduling them on a regular basis and tracking real time data by using connectors
The Best Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The vast availability of visualizations and support. They have best in class dashboard visualization examples.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing seems a bit expensive, and the BI capabilities are not up to the mark.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use tableau mostly for creating custom dashboards for many clients. I automate the reports and visualize them with Tableau so that the clients are very happy to see their requirement packed in a very understandable format.

If you are looking for the best visualising tool in the market, go for tableau. It's fun, it's great.
Tableau Desktop is a powerful data visualization tool.

There are many options to make static & live connections to different data sources.

Some of the custom formattings need to be is very time-consuming.

We have created provider utilization reports which are super helpful.
Great tool when used by the right people
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to consolidate data from different sources, translate data into figures, and present it in the most relevant manner. The different visualization options help when you have teams with diverse needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Presenting large datasets as graphs is tricky. Also, connecting tableau with different sources gets tedious, making it difficult to use by team members who are not tech-savvy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to graphically present data from different business units on one tool without having to work in multiple environments thus helping the teams to save time.

This is a great tool provided you know how to use it.
Great analytics for sales. Usability for non-tech sales.
What do you like best about the product?
As the title affirms, my company's Tableau admin (i.e. wizard) was able to spin-up super informative data for us as a sales team that we could use in client conversations, and new client prospecting. The bonus is that our sales team was able to use a more basic reporting schema just as easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data seemed to load slowly. Then again, we had a lot of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it at Groupon as a way to track our progress to monthly goals, and a way to quickly tie-in sales information and competitive market info.
Tableau Review
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has the best visual tools for dashboards. I really like the graphs and tables I created for my reports. I use different visualization tools like Data Studio or Power BI but Tableau is better than them for visualization. It is easy to read and understand the data. This feature is great for data story-telling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, there is nothing that I dislike about Tableau. However, like many other tools Tableau may get slow especially when I connect it with different Analytical tools other than Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my reports which I create every week and every month to share with our customers or with other teams inside the company, I use Tableau and they love them. It is easy to connect it with Google Sheets, MS Excel, and Google Analytics and they are the tools that I use most.
Well designed insights & content view
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to explore and look for the favorite content. The 360 view gives you fruitful insights and in terms of segregated categoies
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. All looks good so far to my usage.

I am aligning the categorized subject content and benefiting with 360 views.
