What do you like best about the product?
Capable for importing large datasets at once and provides good customer support.

Requires high specification to Run on systems and Quite expensive also

The dashboard size is larger than other BI tools, so that we can create lots of visuals in single dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
There are many features which l have liked most:
1. Connect to almost any database which is best feature of it.
2. It support and create many types of charts including Sankey, Donut, map, pie etc. Which helps to easily visualize different types of data in different forms.
3. It has data integration and data extraction functions.
4.Control panels can be viewed on a variety of devices, including tablets, mobile phones and laptops.
5. It makes reviewing and filtering any dashboard very fast.

What do you dislike about the product?
The setup and learning curve is very difficult. the tool is not easy to use, creating dashboards and ratio ads feels time consuming and difficult, don't use it particularly well and I think I benefited greatly from its ability.
The tool is a bit expensive compared to other data visualization tools but it is worth buying it.

Tableau is one of the best business intelligence software with many features that can help any bussiness create dashboards and KPIs. It is easy to use and very flexible and can solve all complex problems.
My overall experience with Tablueau was excellent. I love data visualization tools because they are easy to use and learn. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to create charts, graphs, and dashboards. The only problem I see is that it's too expensive for customers.

Easy integration with data servers and impactful data visualisation calculated fields.

It becomes little slow with heavy data and is extensive in terms of data usage.

Data visualisation along with integration with data servers like awm, datalake and snowflake.

The Pricing structure is good for Medium scale industries whose just started the data visualization process from the conventional tools. The customer support is very friendly and they helped us to customize the layout as we wanted.
The Migration from the Google Ads data hub is very clean and they supported throught out the process.

What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard is not upto the standard and It's not user friednly. For minor task it needed manual works to do, same task some competitors having advantage of automation of this task it leads increasing the manual effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manual Effort of different section of datas validation and Filteration. previously we used lookup studi and Google Sheet to validate the datas which we collected from different campaign, Now with use of Tableau we can visualy validated the datas with help of customsable chart and graph. It helps to make decison quickly and reduce the manual effort.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau's ability to connect to different sources of data has impressed me most. By providing me with native connectors, optimized for different database types and the ability to connect to different file-based data sources like cube, PDFs and spreadsheets, Tableau makes it possible and straight-forward to extract critical insights at scale from data generated from our customers interactions with our services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau has limited offline capability . Also, Tableau is resource intensive and I do not find its data preparation capabilities to be robust enough , especially when I require extensive data cleaning and enrishment. Tableau's performance tend to fall behind that of standard data preparation tools in such cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job role as a product marketing analyst, exposes me to large extensive datasets around market trends, customer behaviour and product performance. I rely on Tableau to efficiently analyze these datasets and extract valuable insights from them. The ability to extract quality insights from day to day generated data using Tableau, has enhanced the quality of decision making across my company.

You can very quickly and easily put together basic data visualisations. The ability to run on a live datasource connection allows for automation of even fairly complex reporting and the documentation and community is mostly helpful.

How tableau handles data aggregation and level of detail can be unintuitive, the lack of a FORMAT function makes some tasks more chalenging and how tableau blends data is still a bit unclear to me requiring an extra layer of validation.

Making analysis clear and concise and illustrations of the information that make sense to users that are not familiar with the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Its one of the decent tool available in market, especially for data analysts. One of the best feature of tableau is it supports almost all connectors like Teradata, Bigquery, Snowflake etc. Apart from this, it provide many options to users to present data in form of tables, pie charts, heat maps, stacked bars and many more. Story telling feature has been very helpful when user wants to see sequence of visuals to gain insight of how decisions impact the outcome.
It also supports custom sql for real time data analysis. Furthurmore, it allows us to create relationships between multiple data sources. Supports operations like joining & blending.
Another feature is Tabpy(Tableau Python Server) , that expands Tableau’s capabilities by allowing users to execute Python scripts. In that way, we can use python functions too in calculations.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Tableau desktop & Tableau server in my current project. Tableau server is a bit slow and give lot of errors while connecting to data source. It takes lot of time to convert Live connection to extract. Desktop gets terminated automatically. Interface is a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the major problem that Tableau is solving is its ability to integrate data from various sources using join/blend. It is a better replacement of python libraries which are used in data visualization. It provide many options to present data as per the client's requirement. Using Story, we can demonstrate how decisions relate to the outcome. It is incredibly helpful in creating user friendly Dashbords which help businesses in making strategic decisions for their growth.
