Tableau facilitates our data driven decisions
What do you like best about the product?
One of our primary purposes for using this tool is to convert our data into visualizations and dashboards that our leadership can rely on to make informed decisions. It offers a variety of built-in features that support this process. Additionally, it provides helpful resources for upskilling our data teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wide range of creation options can be helpful, but at times it feels overwhelming. Having so many dashboards available can sometimes lead to analysis paralysis. It's important to keep up with product licensing and updates in order to fully benefit from the product. Fortunately, this aspect has started to improve recently.

Easy Access to Information, but Description Field Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I found it easy to access the information I needed, and overall, I had a positive experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The description field is not able to be pushed over.

Easy Salesforce Integration, But Needs More Third-Party Connectors
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive way that it is able to hook up into my Salesforce instance and give me access to it simply and quickly

I wish it had a few additional connectors for some of my 3rd party data vendors

I was building dashboards showing off the performance of our unique investment opportunities fund.
Effortless Dynamic Reports—A True Unicorn Product!
What do you like best about the product?
It’s so easy to use and to have dynamic reports and dashboards at your fingertips!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing! It it truly a unicorn product.

We previously had no idea what population of our members were donating to our Foundation. With tableau, we’ve found when a member is most likely to donate.

Easy to integrate data and many useful charts to represent data

The learning curve can be quite steep for some users, and at times, the amount of data available may feel overwhelming.

Centralizing data in one location allows users to analyze valuable information more effectively.

I believe the problem is more related to our data than to Tableau itself.
