Powerful Analytics Tool That Deserves Better Integration with Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tableau is a very powerful and flexible tool for data visualization. It integrates easily with our data lakes and other data sources, and it allows you to build insightful, interactive dashboards with relatively little effort. It’s great for turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though Tableau is part of the Salesforce product suite, it often feels like an overlooked or disconnected product. Instead of being tightly integrated and gradually replacing Salesforce’s native reports and dashboards, it seems to compete with them. This fragmentation makes it harder to adopt Tableau as the single source of truth for analytics within the Salesforce ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps us consolidate data from multiple sources and visualize key business metrics in one place. It provides insights into overall sales performance, operational metrics, and technology KPIs, making it easier to monitor trends, identify issues early, and support data-driven decision-making across teams.
Integrated Business Intelligence Tools Enhance Salesforce Experience
What do you like best about the product?
As a CTO the business intelligence tools are akin the PowerBI but are nested inside of the Salesforce experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t know enough to adequately state my dislikes as I am currently investigating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Y org has been using PowerBI for somettime but only a few users (including me) have used it and it’s quite difficult do lost folks to use. Plus it’s only on Windows.
Reliable Platform with Smooth Integration, but Licensing Needs Improvement

This platform offers a reliable and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to integrate various components. I appreciate how it brings everything together smoothly.

Licensing and permission processes should be intuitive.

Provision reporting and multi-system stack reporting are both available. These features help streamline the process of managing and analyzing data across different systems.

Intuitive and Adaptable Software, but Data Interface Can Be Slow
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how adaptable and intuitive the software is. The coding language is logical and easy to understand, which makes it approachable even for someone who is new to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the data interface can be a bit slow when it has to parce through a lot of information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me to answer questions that not only does my sales reps have about their accounts, but also questions that the executive team have about the health of the company and brands we have.
Tableau speeds the time to insight
What do you like best about the product?
Since 2018, Tableau has solved the most basic problem we’ve had - getting up to date information in front of our users. Being able to publish a single data source and allow users to explore the data on their own is the most powerful path to insight.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is amazing with a competent professional behind it, but without someone with expertise in Tableau it’s like giving a Ferrari to a middle-schooler - cool but not very functional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting accurate, reliable information to users in a form that they can quickly and easily understand.

Ease of use and the analytics and how is seamlessly connects to slack

Haven’t used it much to say about it seen in Dreamforce and looks interesting
