A go to visualization tool!!
What do you like best about the product?
The one thing I like about tableau is it's data handling, it's so fast and easy to use. It can handle a large set of data easily. You'll get no glitches at all and it's freeee!!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the price , it's quite expensive for small scale businesses or companies. So yeah price is one thing that I could think of where tableau wants to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a large data and Tableau makes it easier to use and make dashboards out of it. I can add more data or append data easily without any hiccups so yeah it's solving a great deal.

High Cost in terms of small companies / private users.

Tableau is a great BI Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Tableau is the drag-and-drop feature and mobile-friendly as well. Apart from it, we have the option of Tableau public along with the desktop version, making it available across any platform. We have the data blending feature which is really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau does not offer the option of automatically refreshing reports through scheduling. Hence, manual effort is required when data needs to be updated in the backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to visualize the data easily and quickly. Making data-driven decisions and sharing them with the stakeholders has been a smooth experience. In addition to that, a large amount of data can be used to create a variety of visualizations without comprising the performance of the dashboard.
The best reporting & analytics software
What do you like best about the product?
There are many, but to my case, since I am more a business side user, so the best thing to me is the powerful dashboard which is super configurable by our data analyst. Once a dashboard is built and connected to our real-time data, I can play around it myself and explore the data I need and discover new insight without any help from data team.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is one, I think it must be UI/UX. Though it provides rich types of graphic presentation charts/graphys, the style/dashboard size is less configurable. When our data analyst is creating a more complicated dashboard, it's not that easy to present it with the best visual/UI help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many big corporates, our data come from many different applications/systems/database. Tableau provides us a single platform to connect ur data from different sources and present them in a visual way. This benefits us to discover more insights from the data we already own and drive/support our decision making.
Insightful and an easy way to grasp information
What do you like best about the product?
I like Tableau because it makes it easier to grasp information and easily examine the information in a visually pleasing manner. It makes the data easy to grasp and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Tableau is the manual effort that has to be put into updating the information. Also, it can be difficult for users who do no have backgroud of working with data as daw data can be difficult to understand as it needs preparation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making organizations to be more data driven and the tool is also making it easier to manage information/data in order to share insights. It helps to turn data into valueable insights.
A Powerful Tool that Requires Expertise to Implement
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is powerful - you can take almost any type of data and create impactful visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is not easy to learn - the learning curve is steep and takes time. Things that should be straightforward can take hours of research or trail-and-error to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data into people's hands in a way that allows them to ask their own questions and dig into the data. We know our end users are more frequently looking at data after new data dashboards go live.

There are many charts that provides insightful information which are missing in other tool like Qlik.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Data processing power is not that good means the ETL process if need cannot be done in tableau. Like writing complex logics. Which is possible in Qlik

It provides good reporting which helps in monthly activity. Also provides good analysis which helps in taking better decisions
A great Visualization Tool - Tableu
What do you like best about the product?
We utilize tableau as a data exploration tool. We also prepare data reports using it which can be presented to the organization. It is very good at exploration. We can build outstanding visualizations using Tableau. The user interface is very easy to use and has drag and drop feature which makes it very intuitive. It also has abilities to analyze trends which is useful for us in designing our marketing strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow us to customize the look and feel of the output from the analysis. The cost of the software is also very high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is very good in producing very good visualizations and dashboards. It allows us to analyze our spending data, the throughput and plan our future marketing strategies.
