Tableau: A tool that makes data speak
What do you like best about the product?
A tableau is a data virtualization tool which used by analyst and to change the data in visualize form. It is easy to use. Has lots of features which I used personally sometimes. It can be integrated with other tools as well. Upload any data and it visualize it when an excel file data or Sql data. Wide range of charts and customize options. It is easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features I not able to use as it includes pricing and with large data sets the performance slows dawn. For predictive analytics it requires integration and other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I personally use it, it solves the complex problems and visualize the data and it has advanced features and I can visualize trends, patterns, charts. We can also integrated it with database and check the visualized data live.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to filter down into specific details utilizing Tableau to find the exact information needed is a game changer. While I use Tableau a few times a week, and it can be a bit confusing to start, once you understand where to find what you need, it's a breeze!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be extremely slow loading times due to the amount of information that it houses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking at specific metrics all in one place, and being able to locate details on certain accounts for clients to gain a better understanding of the holistic view.

1. Tableau can be resource-intensive, sometimes slowing down with very large datasets.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Under dropdown, while selecting multiple items, tableau buffers and applies each and every category and the user has to wait between every new category selection which is pretty irritating
2. Alerts can be useful. Spikes in data and its timely communication will be very much useful
3. Login flow of tableau desktop is pretty poor. Immediately it throws up purchase the license option.
4. An AI bot can be added, that provide tableau workflows to improve quick shipping

Best visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and can make most of the required views with only drag and drop. Provides support with most of the databases. Easy to create connection with multiple sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it gets confusing in calculated fields if you are using aggregated and non aggregated values in a single formula and there is no clear explanation for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made the reporting part really easier. Reports which used to be shared manually on a periodic bases can now be automated on tableau and any stakeholder can view the data or report for any period of time with ease.

I like the simplicity in navigating the platform and the scale of options available to best present your data and distribute the output to colleagues (and to facilitate collaboration).

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the options to configure widgets could be more user-friendly because trying to configure the presentation of data can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamlessly providing a means of presenting data sets in a meaningful way that can tell a story for key stakeholders. The scope of widgets are great and provide a wealth of opportunities to make the most of your data.

Easy tool for data visualization and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau makes it very simple to turn data into charts and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes time to load and render when the data is very large.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves my time compared to making reports manually and supports better decision making, also it shows correct calculated data.

Despite its strengths, Tableau can be resource-intensive—especially when working with large data sets—which may cause the desktop application to lag or crash. There’s also a notable learning curve for beginners without prior data experience. Lastly, the licensing cost can be a barrier for smaller organizations or teams with limited budgets.

Tableau helps us transform raw data into meaningful business insights quickly and efficiently. One of the biggest problems it solves is the gap between technical data teams and business users. With Tableau’s intuitive dashboarding and visualization tools, non-technical stakeholders can explore data independently without relying heavily on IT. It has significantly improved our ability to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and make faster, data-driven decisions. Additionally, it allows seamless integration with multiple data sources, making reporting far more streamlined.
