Beautiful Analytics, but Data Prep Is a Chore
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how the analytics are presented in such an attractive and visually appealing way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Preparing the data sources for use can require a significant amount of effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau makes it easy to visualize large volumes of data by presenting them in charts that are quick to understand.
User Friendly and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly for bother the admin settings up and the associate who will be using it daily
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no down from my perspective. Sometimes my clients get frustrated with the different icons and get confused.

Providing a visual for whose who need them
Efficient Reporting with Tableau, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I find Tableau's ability to dynamically display and hide columns very useful, which helps users better understand which dimensions affect our measures. Tableau made it easier to broadcast insights company-wide, enhancing awareness with visually appealing reports that communicate performance clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found Tableau's data modeling capabilities to be less intuitive compared to Power BI. Tableau did not adapt well to the star schema configuration, which is essential for making data modeling more logical and streamlined. Additionally, the pricing of Tableau is a concern. While it offers some superior features compared to Power BI, the cost is significantly higher, making it less appealing despite its advantages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau expands reporting reach and improves company insight with easy broadcasting and visuals.
Great for Sharing Metrics with Non-Salesforce Users
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to give insight to metrics and KPIs to need-to-know leadership that do not currently have a Salesforce user license.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure of anything that I do not like yet as we are just beginning our Tableau journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to pull data from multiple sources to create a viewable look at our metrics. Sales leadership and business owners are able to see the information they need to see.

Performance may degrade with large datasets or complex calculations, and collaboration features often depend on Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, adding administrative overhead.

The ability to build interactive dashboards with filters, parameters, and drill-downs is a huge advantage

I dislike the data cleaning and ETL capabilities are not as strong as dedicated tools like Alteryx, Power Query, or Python-based workflows

Great Data Analysis, but Field Mapping Needs Improvement

The ability to quickly slice and dice all the data is very useful, and once a report is set up, accessing it is straightforward.

Mapping fields from another program so that the data can be displayed correctly

At times, it can be somewhat challenging to learn.
