Turn Complex Data Into Clear Insights Effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use Tableau to make sense of data that would otherwise be hard to understand. It helps me turn numbers into visuals. I like how quickly it turns raw data into clear visuals, making insights easier to spot and share without needing deep technical skills. The visualization features help me quickly spot trends, patterns, and outliers that are hard to catch in raw data. Interactive dashboards, filters, and drill-down options make analysis faster, improve clarity, and help stakeholders understand insights. I appreciate that it helps reduce time spent on manual reporting, highlights trends early, and makes complex data easier to explain, leading to quicker decisions and better alignment across teams. The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is the pricing, which can be expensive for individual users or small teams. Also, performance can slow down with very large datasets, and some advanced features take time to learn properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to reduce time on manual reporting, make complex data easier with visuals, and spot trends early, leading to quicker decisions and better alignment.
Powerful Yet Complex Data Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Tableau to be a robust product, which I really like. I can use queries to combine different tables and views from our database, which is very helpful for building aggregated student data outcome reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a big learning curve. It is pretty complex. The online version doesn't have the same capabilities as the desktop version and some of the navigation is different between the two platforms. It was fairly easy to download the software, but not easy to connect the data to the project and set up the filters and queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to build aggregated student data outcome reports, allowing us to see student responses in an aggregated form.
Intuitive Dashboards, High Cost for Full Features
What do you like best about the product?
I like Tableau because it has a super intuitive drag and drop interface. It handles messy and multi-source data effortlessly with calculated fields. I also find it easy to set up as it's pretty simple, just like shown on their website. Plus, using Tableau helps me turn cleaned data into clear visuals and charts that even a non-technical person can understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance with large data sets, limited version control and collaboration, high cost for full features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau turns cleaned data into clear visuals and charts, helping even non-technical people understand insights. It also handles messy, multi-source data effortlessly with its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and calculated fields.

Effortless Data Visualization with Potential for Improved Exports
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how fast I'm able to get the data with Tableau. I like the filtering and the visualization. It's pretty fast and pretty easy to understand what you're looking at. It was very easy to get used to, pretty intuitive. I didn't have to use any training, I just got into the dashboard and played around with it, and I found it very easy. Tableau is very good at that.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be better is the export process. Sometimes I have to export data to Excel or Google Sheets and work on it. The process could be made more seamless and easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau gives me quick visibility into data, showing client license usage, page views, and adoption health. It's fast and easy to understand with great filtering and visualization.
Intuitive UI, Needs Better Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like Tableau's platform UI. I also use the charts it provides and the table format to view my performances. The initial setup was pretty simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like its integration with other platforms to make reports pulling easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps me look at my campaign performances in one go.
Transforms Data Analysis with Ease and Power
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Tableau's interactive dashboards because they allow me to drill down into data without having to create new reports. The ease of use is a big plus too, especially with its drag-and-drop functionality. I also appreciate the real-time insights since it connects to live data sources, which means the dashboards update automatically. The ability to integrate well, customize extensively, collaborate effortlessly, and use advanced analytics are other aspects I enjoy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large data can slow down dashboards significantly, the license is expensive, and advanced formulas require a steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau eliminates manual reporting, simplifies complex data analysis, connects live data for real-time insights, and resolves decision delays. It tackles data silos, offers user-friendly drag-and-drop features, and provides automatic dashboard updates.
Interactive Dashboards with Room for Growth
What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop functionality of Tableau. It's better than writing functions in Excel or code in Python. Tableau is free from that, making it simple and easy to use. I also appreciate that Tableau dashboards are interactive, with features like call-out functions, which make the dataset more engaging with clients. Additionally, the initial setup of Tableau was pretty easy. We just needed to set up the data store and databases, and it was very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think, like, in Power BI, there are DAX expressions. In Tableau, there are not. The use cases are there, but we cannot directly use DAX function in Tableau. If Tableau adds that DAX functionality to its software, then it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau for analyzing e-commerce data and performing sentiment analysis. Its interactive dashboards make datasets more engaging for clients, and its simple drag-and-drop functionality is a big plus over writing code or functions elsewhere.
Powerful Analytics, Needs UI and Integration Boosts
What do you like best about the product?
I was using Tableau from last year. It is an amazing analytics tool for creating interactive dashboards to find hidden insights and trends, which helps in predicting future outcomes. I created a dashboard for a better understanding of the stock market by analyzing past data to predict future values. Tableau is an amazing tool because it has so many charts for comparison between entities. I particularly like line charts, which show the relation between stock price and time, and geolocation charts for product sales, indicating areas with high sales. The initial setup was very easy and interactive. Tableau has an amazing drag and drop feature for creating charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think you have to update the user interface to make it more flexible and adding query feature like Power BI. One more problem is that we cannot directly integrate these tools with other platforms like Streamlit. I also noticed that we cannot directly upload my Python script in Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to create interactive dashboards, uncover hidden insights and trends, and predict future stock values, which helps the business.
Effortless Analytics That Transforms Workflows

This is the best analytical tool I have used, and it makes the work feel so effortless that it hardly seems like coding at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
A common problem with this software is that its licensing costs are quite high. Additionally, its performance tends to slow down when handling very large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software engineer I use it to transform raw data into understandable, interactive visual insights to facilitate data driven decision making.
