Great experience so far with Tableau
What do you like best about the product?
My company has been using Tableau for a year and we love the visualization functions provided by Tableau.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company also uses CRM Analytics while using Tableau. I wish these two can be more connected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing portfolio performance.

Given free use of Tableau for one year

Difficult to feel safe around while working with axes because they are a little complicated I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1-It helps me so much with my semester's Project and even with my FYP.

Tableau is good for data, bad for export
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a great visualization engine that lets us see our data easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau doesn't export data easily for use in other platforms. You can't really even get it out at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helped me see our customer data and easily visualize it to explain meaningful insights to others.

How easy and intuitive is to start using and learn. The amoung ofwhite papers available on the web so we can obtain further instruction on how to use and improve our using expertise

Lack of transparency on pricing and what each specific tableau instance will cover in term of capabilities and services.
I would like to have more clear comunication and better discreptions and comparissons between products. ( i.e. Cloud, server and Desktop)

Very easy to use and the experience is very easy

Nothing as of today, we are trying to bring more data into Sales cloud

Ease of use for creating data vusiaulizations a d easy to use sharing rules.

It would be nice to be able to review workbooks as an admin even if the publisher didn't enable the setting along with a reference to any client side alteryx work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much of the business has data analysis needs which crosses multiple databases/systems and Tableau allows us to bring all of it to one place and visualize and interpret what the data means.
Tableau enables pixel perfect visualization for the data enthusiast
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau rich set of dashboard building controls enables you to build any dashboard you can imagine. This enables data focused individuals to build very elaborate visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
All of the customizations features can become overwhelming and create a steeper learning curve than other platforms. With the ability to control every detail of visualization creation, the time to get insights to users takes longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to centraltize data from multiple sources and tell a data story to both mangers and end users. This includes the harmonization of disparate data fields and the online access for remote workers.
Great tool but still much to evolve

Easy to modify and get insights from. Charts are very informative

Still more features that are not possible to do with tableau:
Notifications, notes, user input is very limited

License Dashboard in my company to measure adoption of all of Cisco customers
Positive overall - not a developer but find that report building is intuitive and data is helpful

The flexibility and capability for reporting and visualizations

I don't know enough about how to build reports

Data and sales analytics. Utilization metrics and pulling reporting that we can't do currently in salesforce
