Some features that might be useful to have (which dont exist right now):
1. freeform way of resizing the tiles on a dashboard- the container way is too cumbersome and sometimes frustrates
2. Creating dashboard templates to be reused on a new sheet - just like powerpoint.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface's ability to pull the variables on a different axis, especially when generating the heat maps. I also love the pre input graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data manipulation is a bit challenging. There are a bit too many tabs at the top, and it would take some time to master all the functions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI/UX of the software and the ability to transform data into valuable insights in a very easy way. The logic implementation is quite easy to use and frequently using the software makes it easy to understand data even for a new person.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data transformation and cleaning can be added to the future versions of Tableau. Also, if the cost of the license can be a bit less, would be a good thing.

The data visualization part of Tableau is very helpful in arranging the data to make business users understand in a very easy way. It makes me to do something innovative with my visualization skills.

Tableau has been very effective in the visualization of data for analysis purpose. With experience the tool becomes easy to understand. It gives the option of providing data in the form of various tables and charts along with exporting of data in various formats along with timely customer support

The dashboards take a while to load as more data is fed into the system.

Tableau has made it easier to understand and breakdown large and complex data by turning it into clear visuals with the help of dashboards which helped me filter, sort and view data as per my requirements which helps with analysis, decision-making and campaign management

I like how convinient the UI is, for example in other similar apps, the UI is very complicated and not very user friendly unlike Tableau which is very easy to use

Tableau simplifies complex data analysis by enabling me to create dynamic, interactive dashboards.

It handles large datasets very easily. Calculated fields, parameters, tooltips, and its ability to connect to a mostly all common datasources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very limited chart options. We have to write complex calculations to get charts like Waterfall, shankey etc etc.
Formatting options can be improved.

Tableau solves problems like siloed data analysis, manual reporting, and difficulty in visualizing trends across large datasets. It benefits me by enabling quick integration of data from multiple sources, automating reporting processes.

The variety of chart options available to me as a Tableau user is commendable, plus I am allowed to create my own customized charts.
Tableau is generally intuitive to use for me even in my past, as a beginner user. Tableau connects with key data sources and most importantly, its AI assistant helps me introduce predictive data models into my reports without writing code and even automate the generation of descriptive analysis for workbooks , tables and data sources using conversational prompts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Load time tend to get longer , the larger the volume of data I am processing on Tableau. I dislike having to lose properties of my reports when I export them outside of Tableau, into other data formats.

Tableau is the most important software to me for data visualizing and analysis ( data clustering , forecasting ) purposes . With Tableau, I am getting more done with less effort.
Custom visualizations enhance reporting but AI integration needs improvement
What is our primary use case?
The primary use case of the solution is for it to be used as a visualization tool. It is a counterpart of Microsoft Power BI and is used for visualization and reporting purposes.
What is most valuable?
The solution provides the leverage of having custom visualization and the capability of self-service. I can drag and drop and create reports based on requirements. Data blending comes within self-service, allowing me to generate information.
What needs improvement?
There should be a generated AI feature that can be added to enable me to generate information. The visualizations should be user-friendly and allow for more custom visualizations.

I have over six years of experience using the solution.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would rate the stability as three when comparing it to Tableau and ten being the least stable. So, I consider it to be a seven out of ten in terms of stability issues.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
In terms of scalability, while it is better than PowerView, it is not as good as Cognos or Microsoft Azure.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support is very satisfactory, and I would rate it as eight out of ten.
