Great software for reports and visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is very easy to use and connect to multiple data sources. I was able to connect it to various MSSQL databases and quickly build reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Tableau is powerful to use, it has many great features that aren't very intuitive and need to take a class or watch online tutorials to get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau replaces reports that we previously created in Excel. It's much more powerful and can create dashboards very easily.
Great way to scale your insights, some good and some bad
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to drag-and-drop to create visuals was great, ability to iterate/change a chart was very simple, drilldowns through "Actions" was very cool once you learned it
What do you dislike about the product?
Cant edit a query for a Published data-source which makes it less flexible than I needed it to be, tough to get formatting the way you want it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to scale the ability to get slicable healthcare data insights into the hands of our Customer Success org. As a result, we leaned on Tableau Desktop for the creation/curation of data and charts, then published our findings to Tableau Server (the online version) so that our end users could leverage what we built... Benefits realized are that we built a scalable, sliceable, auto-updating, dataset and visuals that end-users can leverage instead of our team having to manually curate for each ask then manually update each month/quarter
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau has a great User Community so definitely leverage them and their resources as you get familiar with the product... PowerBI is stronger with the Microsoft suite obviously, so keep that in mind if Microsoft-integration its truly a necessary requirement with your BI software.
Good for organization
What do you like best about the product?
Useful tool to organize work campaigns and communicate with team members. It setup is very simple and your work tasks can be sorted and arranged a variety of ways to improve your efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Salesforce reports could be more user-friendly and sometimes there are too many error messages telling the user to contact their administrator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization and campaign details, like email recipients and content details. Also distributing work among team members.

Great for organizing and distributing work among team members. Some troubleshooting necessary to customize to your organization.

Great and effective software
What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensiveness of the AI software when it comes to customer relations. The advanced technology allows us to be able to better predict the actions of our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest con is that it is expensive. Thus with higher costs I would not recommend it for a smaller business unless you have large revenue/profit margins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves a lot of time because we now upload data directly into the system and whatever data we want to extract or records we want to analyze can be easily viewed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It can even be used on mobile devices! However just be aware that not all features are supported on phones yet as it is a relatively new software, but it should be soon.

I really like this crm and how easy it is to switch account owners and leads.

I didn't like the backend set up for this product as it takes way to long and lots of school.

Great way to visualize data
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is one of the coolest programs I have ever used. It is not only a great tool for presentation of large data sources, but also extremely powerful for data analysis. The amount of functions built in are truly endless. Additionally, the ability to pull from all types of data sources in a huge plus. In our organization, we use Tableau for productivity, sales, and improvement analysis. The ability to have visualizations updated on the hour gives our entire department the necessary information on what needs improvement very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Tableau is such a powerful program, it can also be difficult for new learners to grasp all of it's capabilities. This means anyone that is just starting out with it may require outside training or a fair amount of time learning on the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most important measures for our department is productivity of each employee. With tableau we are able to break down data into individual agents or teams to pinpoint weak points in the company. Additionally, it's ability to update on hour allows for constant tracking of real time issues in sales, productivity, or coverage within the department.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to take a course to learn the basics functions of the program. It will take time to figure out how powerful Tableau can be.

Very tedious at times and there is a big learning curve for using it. Can be hard to manipulate and find things you need within the program

Being able to sort and analyze large groups of data

The only thing I did not like is that the software gets slow with large amount of data

The problem was to show trend in class utilization and Tableau allowed me and the team to create useful Tree Maps to show classroom Uimtilization by building.
