it's intuitive. anyone can use it. allows you to answer questions very quickly and move from thought to thought creating visuals to answer questions every step of the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
inter-row calculations can be difficult. also wish there was better documentation/governance/transparency in the calculations (though Tableau Prep is a very promising step)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use tableau desktop for ad hoc analysis, compliance reporting, performance measurement, survey results visuals, predictive analytics, data QA. It's always the first tool for me.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of all the free training on their website. Engage in the customer forums and user community, especially voting for new features (Tableau developers rely heavily on votes when determining what to add in quarterly updates)

What do you like best about the product?
Easily accessible anytime/anywhere for clients, automated a lot of manual updated to charts and graphs in excel that were pdf and emailed out.

some of the functionality that was easy to create/change in excel has to be manipulated in Tableau to get the same results

Time efficiency : daily reporting is now automatically updated from SQL server
More analytics: time is now spent on analytics with data and easier to report and visualize for executive leadership levels

Evaluate the time and resources currently dedicated to maintaining reporting/metrics that could be shifted to analytics using Tableau. Also great way to present data vs. the usual power point presentations that take time to create/update for each meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the clean way the data can be visualized and it can be shared easily with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the data manipulation it takes and it does not plug directly into SAS. You have to stage the work somewhere else and then pull it in or export it to excel. This can be time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to visualize data across several different strategy areas to make it easier for executives to have access to view real time data.

Utilize Google for answers as there is not enough wide use of the product yet to streamline learning for most business areas.

What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Analytics is a tool that allows easy tracking of all the opportunities of several different clients, including stages and decision makers. On the other hand, the tool helps to track connections of several clients. In addition, it allows to know the opportunities and to know when it is in the sales cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Salesforce Sales Analytics is a tool that has such a large number of options that it can be overwhelming at first and offer a lot of information difficult to assimilate. Despite this, the continuous use of the tool makes this situation better and much easier. Finally, it is worth highlighting how complicated it is to customize the tool to the specific needs of the client. Sometimes their large number of options can end up being a handicap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Salesforce Sales Analytics you can make projects prioritizing the workload in a much easier and easier way. On the other hand, thanks to this tool we can evaluate the opportunities that arise to convert these potential customers into orders.

Salesforce Sales Analytics is a great tool that allows us to amplify the number of orders that our company can make, maximizing the success of the company and increasing the benefits of each period. On the other hand, it is necessary to have a sales team well trained in the knowledge and use of the tool to be able to squeeze all its potential.
Tableau for efficient BI
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau Server is easy to implement within a company in relatively short time. It is also very easy to publish dashboards. It is a very user friendly web application that does not require much of the training before you start developing your own dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue is Tableau inability to handle extremely large data, and increase in response time when you are dealing with large data. I know that Tableau is trying to address this issue but I still did not see highly efficient solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building different Tableau dashboards / reports when working with business partners / clients.

If you have extremely big data, then you should be careful before you select Tableau as your default web application.

Salesforce Einstein is best ever tool in the market to give the insights for sales and business development executives in order to gain the more advantages.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found any issues with the product.

Gain more insights about the companies, Able to get the more opportunities, Close more deals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Salesforce Einstein is the best platform to get the more opportunities and close more business deal. I would definitely recommend others try and explore who never used salesforce Einstein.
THE visualization software
What do you like best about the product?
I love all the different visualizations that you can create with tableau
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as user friendly as other software. There is a big learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to display our data in a way that everyone can understand.

This program can be complicated and I definitely recommend you get a course or some kind of training in order to use it effectively.
Great app for tabulating survey data
What do you like best about the product?
I love how detailed the customization capabilities are. In addition to the customization, you have the ability to drill down to very specific details regarding specific pieces of information gathered through the survey questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of effort to get everything set up to where you can gain meaningful insights from the data gathered. Also, it tends to be a little slow when bringing up results to review for different options - although that could be due to the amount of data being sorted from our surveys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are utilizing it with a pilot program, which is reviewing surveys taken by our customers. It is calculating our response rate and allowing us to tweak our surveys to solicit a higher take rate amongst the survey recipients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tableau is a great product for taking deep dives into the granular details of survey completion data. I strongly recommend it to those businesses that rely heavily on surveys and the data they collect.
