Tableau
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility and customizations it has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am pretty new to the product so I haven't found anything that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide data to our members through Tableau and the platform is much more dynamic than what we used to offer our members.
Tableau Data Visualization Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is the ability to integrate multiple data sources into one unified, user-friendly, and visually appealing dashboard where anyone can access exactly the information they are looking for. Prior to Tableau, we struggled finding ways to show how multiple data sources were interacting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really. There is a slight learning curve but easy to figure out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit in using Tableau is being able to see how one source of data is affecting another across platforms.
Beneficial Data Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customization that Tableau provides with our reporting and Microsoft CRM. Tableau has been able to provide us detailed information that has streamlined our servicing with our clients and allowed us to focus on the clients we need to be providing special attention to.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not anything I can think of that I dislike about Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to filter which clients are less likely to do business with us in the future and focus more on getting them renewed.

Good product that allows me to see insight and high level info on my accounts as well as company accounts in terms of revenue and volume.
What do you dislike about the product?
often takes a long time when pulling a significant amount of data. Its slow at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Beneficial to see how accounts are trending day by day and provides it in an easy to view window.
Very, Very Informative
What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to create numerous tiles heavily diving into various metrics - that you specify. At least with my company, we had a handful of tableau specialists who would do the dirty work of getting the reports built. Tableau also has some great filtering tools that allows users to drill pretty far down into larger sets of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slightly overwhelming at times - although I think this is dependent on how you design it specifically for each user. Also tends to take a long time to load all information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau allows you to look at the big picture - while also having the ability to drill down into a specific representative on a specific day. This is providing us with the benefit of having one universal tool for everyone to use to look at data, rather than having to build numerous dashboards and reports for everyone.

Flexibility to utilize different data sources and even combine sources.

Relatively steep learning curve for me, seems to be coming a little easier now.

Solid Visualization Software
What do you like best about the product?
Visually, Tableau produces compelling dashboards for internal use as well as client-facing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dashboards can take awhile to load, depending on the data sets being utilized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing dozens of disparate data sets together into one visualization platform. Once we have had API connections working appropriately, Tableau is great at visualization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For our needs, it was important that a separate data warehouse was functional before layering on Tableau.
Great VIsuals, but complex

The graphics and charts created within Tableau are normally much easier than building anything in Excel

Building preexisting spreadsheets that auto feed Tableau can be difficult

Finding unmet markets. Determine regional strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for all levels. Great for bringing on new members and getting them up to speed
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly outdated IF. Overall its good however, some screens are outdated.
