What do you like best about the product?
In my role, we often are required to quickly perform analysis for clients that tells a story. Tableau's flexibility in data visualization and ability to quickly wrangle data allows our team to present the client insights with quick turnaround, and create it in a user-friendly manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating more complex and polished dashboards, formatting limitations within the tool are often a let down. We design mockups in PowerPoint and have to set expectations for clients when they translate to Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently visualized data related to working capital for a large oil company and created real-time dashboards in workshops that were then shared with leadership. Could not have done in another tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature of Tableau is the amount of documentation available for new users. I feel that kind of documentation helps everyone to come onboard and try things with a tableau. I have used this software for various projects and never had a problem with any number of datasets. Indeed it is one of the best software for visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing which does not go well with me for Tableau is the high pricing. For students, it is free up until there i20 period but it is a bit too costly for individuals. Hence, I personally feel they should regulate their pricing structure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a dataset for a US pharmaceutical company and we extensively use Tableau for reporting purposes. With Tableau the data connections to different software are so seamless that it makes our jobs as consultants to visualize anything using Tableau. Hence, I recommend all the companies to use Tableau for reporting needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau allows to connect with multiple databases and transform your data into visualizations. It gives insights about the data to the user.
Data can be viewed in the form of multiple charts as per the requirement. It is a strong data analytics and exploration tool which gives the user a deep dive into the important aspects of data.

What do you dislike about the product?
When working on multiple sheets the applications responses very slow.
Server connections drops which crashes the whole application.
While in presentation mode, the screen resolution tends to be uneven.
Bulk data cleanup is sometimes very cumbersome.

Data analytics where decisions needs to be made on the basis of data an organization has, Tableau works great. It gives clear picture which is understandable to the audience. When we map and transform the bulk data into charts, specifics areas where focus needs to be made are highlighted.

Tableau offers a wide variety of visualization techniques that can be utilized for different business intentions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little that I dislike about Tableau. Some features are not as intuitive to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tableau to monitor business trends through time series analysis. One benefit is there is little maintenance needed on reports as they can be built dynamically.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great visualization tool to identify patterns and trends. There are a variety of ways to dig into the different dimensions of the data.

What do you like best about the product?
It is best in the business tool to create any visuals. Easy to integrate with many different source files; tableau extract works faster then ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau server doesn't have ability to make changes in the server itself. There are other tools like Qlik, where you can make changes in the server. To make changes to Tableau workbook, you need to make changes in desktop version first, then upload to the server.

Creating day-to-day analysis with tableau then publishing on Tableau server to present to clients and higher ups

Is not super intuitive to use. Takes awhile to understand the structure

It provides the platform to read results for the business

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the ease and simplicity with which you can build control boards and the layout of maps to facilitate even more the monitoring of projects.The availability of different graphics facilitates the construction of different approaches for analysis and evaluation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be interesting to be able to interact with the points on the map, as well as the graphics to avoid placing filters in the interface. On the other hand, it is necessary to use tachometer-type graphics to apply them in some performance indicators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problems that I am solving with this tool is the monitoring of projects and the diagnosis of areas of interest to make structural decisions in real time.

I highly recommend it because it is a versatile, simple and easy to use tool, which in turn offers multiple options to make business intelligence without major investments of time and money.

The presentation and to ease of working around with various dashboards and results in tableau fascinate me. The data presented can be far more impactful than a ton of raw data

The saving method where you cannot save something privately and causes you to share a bunch of info that you would not have if it were for a local file saving
