Incredible data visualization tool that makes a big impact
What do you like best about the product?
I thoroughly appreciate the output of the results. Once you get all of the spreadsheets and aggregators set up, it's really nice to be able to pick and select data from a myriad of sources to create your dashboard. Additionally, the Tableau community makes it easy to get inspired to new dashboard ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's certainly time consuming to learn the tool and to get up to speed on how to maximize the tool. However, once you're trained, it becomes smooth after that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted one place that housed all of the data that impacted the entire organization. From sales to marketing, it helped everyone read off the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When learning the tool, take advantage of all of the available resources and classes that Tableau offers us on their website. It really helps to make the learning process easier.
Good for experts, not for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to visualize the gigantic data sets I often work with into something readable and understandable for my target audience. I love that the visualizations are not static, but are an interactive visual that anyone can zoom in on based on the information that is most pertinent to them. I enjoy the different visualization options, and how easy it is to change the visual from one shape to another in a matter of seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there are so many features, and that it takes far too long for the novice to become accustomed to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By visualizing traffic patterns, my team is working to solve congestion in Egypt.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that someone on your team dedicates several days to learning the intricacies of the software, in order to hold a workshop for the rest of the team.
Tableau Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love Tableau's customization aspect. You can take the same data and manipulate it depending on the end viewer. This is especially useful when building a dashboard that your COO and CFO use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations to the amount of data tableau is able to process. That is sometimes more apparent than others. Occasionally reports will "time-out" and just not run if there is too much data or your interconnection is not strong enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data storage and report creating

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's used to measure my success for the month in my sales role compared to the previous year and also keep track of my required metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau server does have a tendency to run slow and be a week or so behind at times. Not sure if this is something Tableau needs to work on or the company that i work for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A as this is used to measure metrics in my Account Mgmt sales role.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend getting all the key components needed to measure an employees performance.
Great BI Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use! Message boards and training videos are a huge help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs easier customization, like colors and such.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is an incredibly powerful product that can provide very quick insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without taking a lot of time to learn the product, there are parts of the product that aren't always incredibly intuitive. Its not an easy product to just jump in to without spending a good amount of time devoted to learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to provide more robust reporting as well as dive in to deeper analyses on projects that drive our product and insights.
King in Visualization tools
What do you like best about the product?
It is the best to Investigation the data and visualize data into information , best features of tableau Actions , Filters , Formatting , Dashboarding, Storytelling.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app is not that good, they need to visualize the app and make it more friendly, which they are working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product helped us to get the wireframe to reality, i develop the final dashboard based on prototype.

Powerful BI
What do you like best about the product?
Enhanced visualizations. Ease of data access and speed (for manageable data sets). The compatibility of Tableau across various types of datasets is impeccable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many updates and version upgrades. Also, Tableau is intended for it to be a business intelligence software,i.e. Self-serve BI. However, Tableau is currently perceived as an enhanced reporting software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid analytics
Simple but Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface where most people familiar with pivot tables will be able to easily create reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not meant for large data extractions. Report does not cooperate as well when there are thousands of line items in the report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating dashboards becomes simpler to publish for others. Individuals abilities to publish reports makes it easier to share data with anyone.

Loading bit slow while loading the report on server
