Excellent data viz tool
What do you like best about the product?
Super intuitive and great to work with for my daily analytics tasks. So much easier to create visualizations than in Excel

Workbooks crash when opened for too long

Fantastic software
What do you like best about the product?
This takes your data and converts it into amazing interacting graphs. I thought Excel was fantastic however this is alot better. Its more simple too, all drag and drop rather than vlookups. It takes seconds to create an inviting graph from the inserted data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an annoying bug when connected Netezza when using my Microsoft surface. I think it is to do with the DPI of the software. the connection box is half missing when typing in. I did report it to Tableau but they were unsuccessful in fixing the issue. The work around is to use an external monitor. The other downside is the licensing costs. its very expensive. Lucky they have now added a subscription model to help stem this issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its ease to use , just simply connect to a csv file to the data and within minutes you have amazing professional visualisation of your data. its really quick and easy
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is multiple options to create really professional visualisations. It looks amazing. I used it with mapping postcodes, it does require some knowledge of prepping data however with a couple of clicks there is great visuals. On top of this you can publish the data and make it interactive to the end user. as a result I highly recommend this.

The data driven information provided from the analytics allows for confident prep work before connecting with potential clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes at this time. Everything has worked as anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The discovery of data driven knowledge for potential clients. I have had more prepared info prior to making a blitz call.

One feature that I admire the most about Tableau is the "Drag and Drop" feature. It makes it easier to work.

I have been using tableau to complete my school projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to manipulate any data outputs. The arrangement of your data sources is completely up to you, depending on what you consider important.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve, but there are plenty of online resources via YouTube and LinkedIn Learning. Hopefully your coworkers are willing to help you out too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tableau to figure out if we are hitting our profitability goals. Since our data come from many different sources, Tableau is perfect for making sense of all of that data within one screen.

Amount of meaningful reports that can be built and dimensions of data representations that helps business drive

Nothing specific to its functionality or capability. Lack of usage knowledge or documentation was an initial hinderance to try different things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost reporting, SLA measurement, operational productivity measurement and tracking

What do you like best about the product?
I love the layout, having used it at two employers. It just gets better. Clean, easy to navigate and never seems cluttered or “busy”.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don’t dislike much about Salesforce, and if I had to be picky, I would say that I wish some of the “groups” were more useful, as my employers haven’t used them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department relies heavily on Salesforce Sales Analytics to track our team and departmental quotas. Having this easy to interpret service to track everything makes coaching our team and having a day to day look at sales numbers has helped our organization excel at our goals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Out of all of the products out there, this is the best one. Hands down.

What do you like best about the product?
We can build customized web dashboards based upon the strategic KPI's each month. So it's very tailor-made + numbers are always up-to-date. It refreshes continuously. Mobile app is also super user friendly + used by the whole salesteam while on the road.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are very dependent on the 'Salesforce Admin' within our company, as sales people are not familiar with coding and setting formulas. Backend data not directly available.

What do you like best about the product?
This program is helpful for analyzing data to determine where to focus your efforts. It provides a cumulative view of the data with many various perspectives to analyze. It is user friendly and easy to use, as well. I highly recommend this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about this program. It is very user friendly. It takes some time to determine additional features that are available, but the training is minimal, and it is a very useful analytical program.

Analytics. I have realized benefits that are of assistance in sales.
Rich UI and felixble
What do you like best about the product?
The app has feature rich UI that allows the user to configure the analysis with multiple and different filters. Filters themselevs can be configured based on the data elements or dimensions chosen for analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to rich UI the app takes up installation space and not as easy to move between servers for deployment
