Iam using this tool inmy company it is very useful to create Adhoc reporting and Dahbaords

What do you like best about the product?
It's simple and easy to start work with. The administration is pretty much the same as working on Windows administration. Easy to deploy dashboards to different devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its hard to categorize as a dislike but the out of box analytics features can be improved. Like predictive analytics follows only one particular algorithm to predict the values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduled reporting to different departments was simple automation with this tool. Solved the silo effect between our departments and share the resources through the same

Go for it, it make life of an analyst simple

I like the outlook plug in which helps me streamline tracking my customer interactions
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it only picks up on one of the email addresses listed for a single customer so I have to frequently search for other email addresses when tracking interactions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that I can see my interactions in with my customers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you purchase the integration features. It helps me keep organized so I can track my tasks. I especially like the email and calendaring features. I do wish it would ask me to grade the interaction.

Salesforce is very user friendly and the support you get from customer service is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the reporting tracking and numbers can get a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to efficiently capture a lot of information that is helpful for grants and other reports.
Strong data connection, lacking design

Super powerful for connecting and visually demonstrating data in various ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Design elements are extremely lacking - basic things like aligning images, adding simple shapes and the like are not there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital reporting to a variety of clients on their site and paid search performances. It's given us a ton of insight into their digital performances and allowed us to optimize accordingly.

What do you like best about the product?
It combines large amounts of data in an easy to read format. I'm able to see how others on my team are doing and where we stand in regards to our quota.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that i dislike is that I don't always know how much an order will be worth until we get the actual purchase order. This can skew my sales dollars in the data that salesforce provides, but non the less it is easy to update once i have the PO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that i do not have to manipulate any data on my own in order to see how myself or my team is doing. This is a huge time saver and makes communication across my team very simple.

Make sure that the information you enter is accurate otherwise you will not get accurate data.

We are using salesforce every day at work. I think it was going to be impossible to keep a track on the progress of 10 or more different projects we work per day without salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I have to complain about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting the reports we need within just e few clicks. We are working on different projects every day so we need to keep a track on our progress and there is no better tool than salesforce to help us doing that.

I would highly recommend it for everyone.
Tableau is a great software for visualizations and analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
The Tableau visualizations are easy to make and it even gives minimal requirements of parameters for any required visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau's BI capabilities are average and they have a lot of scope for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my company with visually analyzing the graphs and creating live charts which in turn helps in decision making.

One of the good BI softwares but still has room for improvement.
