What do you like best about the product?
Interactive Dashboards, stories, different levels of filtering options, Pages
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t handle too much volume of data; you need a separate software for data preparation to maintain the performance

What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to use Tableau Server and its great for suggesting different visualizations you can do with your data. It also uploads almost any source of data
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that with every update, you would have to open past files to update them to the new format. If you don't do that, no one can open those files on the updated Tableau app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the data visualization for meetings and presentations. Its really helpful when trying to explain financial data and findings to people at work who have no finance background or knowledge. Its a really useful tool, no matter what area.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into Tableau user groups in your area. I've been to a few conferences, even webinars and online forums where other professionals give tips and tricks that they use often. There's also some books on Tableau that you should check out if you're interested! Its a real easy tool with a lot of power if you decide to dive in further.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it because it makes it easy to get into everything needed to complete a sale, products, and additional services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if it is just my location but I’ve had trouble with staying connected through Citrix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made it more efficient for us to not have to search through so many windows or use additional programs for sales.
Easy to use tool great for sales calls
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of the tool, it’s very user friendly and gives me the data I need to be successful during a sales call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches out and will stall, you’ll want to get the data pulled before a sales call to make sure you’re not waiting for it to load while with a client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Top line view of accounts, shows you what brands and package specifics that are the top sellers and opportunity areas.
Good way to share data
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to use shared data sources. Minimizes the amount of required coding
What do you dislike about the product?
Queries can take a long time to run. They run very quick in our database but in tableau take a while to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to share data and create advice reports

What do you like best about the product?
salesforce is able to generate reports specified to your business needs. E.g. pulling things into an excel format with all the custom fields - client contacts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Normally everything is so customized and the system is pretty complicated that you have to speak to customer support to know how to get things done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me product reports on target lists, prospects, paying customers, customer segements etc.
Expensive, but ultimately convenient
What do you like best about the product?
My boss loves to be able to dive into a report and be able to analyze things, and this gave him the tool to be able to analyze our sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing substantial that we disliked about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before purchasing this product, we would use excel to try to create the same reports and it took up too much of our time. By purchasing this, we were able to save time and money in the long run by automating this process and having salesforce help with this piece of the business.
Tableau Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Tableau is that is takes data right from Excel and sorts in a way that is easy to analyze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will take measures and categorize them as dimensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Tableau to see business trends. I am able to see areas that need improvement .
Sales force is ehh
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it includes millions of companies in all different industries all over the United States
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that they don’t have a larger database for the companies in Canada
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit is not having to use a search engine to find companies. I can just look in sales force and sort by the state and industry I’m looking for to find the type and size of company I’m looking for
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There’s a lot of improvements that need to happen but idk any other software that’s better that accomplishes the same goals
Great for Sharing Data
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau Server is an amazing tool for analyzing and displaying data. It is easy to use big data sets and make them into actionable data using Tableau visualizations. I like Tableau Server because it is easy to share dashboards and manage permissions and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you can only have one owner for a dashboard on Tableau Server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My organization uses Tableau Server to display big data for decision making. We deploy dashboards to Tableau Server so that we can share them with others across our organization.

I would recommend using the free training resources on Tableau's website.
