What is our primary use case?

I use Tableau in the banking sector for data visualization and financial analytics. It helps in processing large amounts of data and generating high-level reports.

What is most valuable?

Tableau efficiently handles large amounts of data and automates processes, reducing the need for manual work. This automation provides resources that are highly cost-effective and helps with high-level analysis and decision-making. The platform supports live connections and real-time data processing, which is crucial for our reconciliations that need frequent updates.

What needs improvement?

There are restrictions in scheduling reports. For instance, we cannot send the entire Excel file reports via email within Tableau. While high-level snapshots can be sent, extracting raw data requires server access.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been working with Tableau for more than five years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

I find it quite easy to deploy Tableau.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I rate the stability as eight out of ten.

What was our ROI?

Tableau reduces manual labor and resources, providing cost-effective solutions for our operations. This saves a significant amount of time, particularly for reports that would have needed around fifty people. The automation is a valuable asset.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We have different types of licenses for Tableau. The cost for viewer rights is around $60, but it can vary based on the business and is usually for a year.

What other advice do I have?

I recommend Tableau to other users and businesses. My overall rating for Tableau is eight out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau interface is great and i liked to integrate many .csv files and able to join them For larger data visualization
What do you dislike about the product?
limitation to export files in free version.

To analyze large set of data and able to create visualization sheet according to my need

What do you like best about the product?
Not much, it was slow and old but did what we needed back then
What do you dislike about the product?
Most complex system to learn, hard to implement and their customer support is terrible.
They make you pay for things you don't ask and force you to upgrade in order to get decent service.

They also have ridiculous rules that harm your business and no one from their team can help. We ran away the second we could.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to create a SAAS interface for our customer using Tableau Embbed.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is great for data visualization with minimal prerequisite coding experience. I'm able to create detailed sales reports with ease and analyze my prospecting volume/performance over given time periods with maximal efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a big fan of tableau, I use it for most of my data visualization needs at work. No real complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is helping me tailor my prospecting approach to generate the most revenue possible. I'm able to analyze how my sales strategy is translating into actionable metrics that I can then use to implements improvements going forward.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy and flexible it is. Whether I’m creating dashboards, exploring data, it’s fast and intuitive. Plus, the community is incredibly supportive and full of inspiration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the default formatting is not what I want to see and it can be tricky and take longer than expected to get things looking just right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau makes it super fast to spot trends, patterns, and insights. It saves time by simplifying reporting and automating updates, so I spend less time on manual work and more time analyzing and presenting data. This helps me create clear, impactful dashboards that drive better decisions across my team.

What do you like best about the product?
overall the working experience with salesforce CRM was good.The implementation and customer support is very good and I have used it multiple time to access multiple features that it offers and also it is easy to use and ease to integrate and use frequency to use is very often.

everything was good and on point but customer support can improve little bit

Tableau is one of the leading data visualization and business intelligence tools, known for its intuitive interface, interactive dashboards, and robust analytics capabilities. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned data professional, Tableau makes it easy to connect to multiple data sources, manipulate large datasets, and create compelling visualizations without extensive coding knowledge.

The community for Tableau is also very strong and there are lots of resources out there to help you learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an initial steep learning curve when using the product, while you can pick up the basics, there is a lot to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau is solving two key problems for us.

1) To be able to have pre-built reports which refresh on a daily, weekly and month basis that the operation and the rest of the business can just access
2) Be able to connect to large datasets to analyse

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Tableau has a smoother learning curve and can easily be used by non-technical folks who have little to zero coding knowledge for data visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major downside regarding Tableau would be its seamless integration with the microsoft suite. As many enterprises use a Microsoft techical stack, integrating Tableau gets a little difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently we use Tableau to visualize realtime contact center data to measure perform of our contact center representatives. We measure KPIS such as average speed to answer, number of calls abandoned and many more.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is a powerful tool and greate for data visualization tool and data analytics
It is easy to learn and use and can provide wide variety of analytics charts
It can handle large size data efficiently in no time
It can be integrated with most of the data cloud platforms like snowflake,gcp,azure and works seamlessly with them
What do you dislike about the product?
Their customer support is horrible they don't have chat or call support and we need to rely on email thread for any resolution
They block your site without any notice and there is micommunication between Tableau and their parent company and user has to suffer because of their lack of communication mostly bills paid not discussed properly among them

Tableau helps in creating complex analytics dashboards which caters all our data analytics needs
