Top of the line data visualizations backed by Salesforce!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work with both live data through a connector or using a data extraction is a huge plus for us since some of our data used legacy data connections like ODBC that have no online access. The software is also extremely easy to setup and use whether you're using just the Desktop version or also incorporating the Server client! They are just got bought out by Salesforce so have confidence choosing Tableau
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure can be confusing as well as the dashboard setup if you're wanting to host your dashboards locally yourself or through a VPS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our traditional method of reporting was mainly through Excel, but now with the added visualizations and ability to host live dashboards in the cloud that update automatically we now have even greater visibility into business metrics that we were desperate for!

Very intuitive. Lots of difference colors and differentiators you can apply on map

The lack of customer service/user reviews available online about its mapping and geospatial funcrions

What do you like best about the product?
Easy UI, easy to learn. Based on SQL, hence it is easy to form calculated fields
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not able to handle missing/null values. It would be better, if i am able to fill in null values by mean/median/or other technique

I am using tableau for reporting and dashboards.

Reporting tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is used to create report for both listing and pictorial representation. We can create report using logics by outer, inner, left and right table looping.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will take too much time while exporting the report via .csv that to mostly fetching via full data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating report by creating data source via database, excel, etc.. By creating logics we can create graphs and use filters to create the report as per our requirements.

Input entry is easy and information is easy to view

Short non user lockout time and poor customer service

Travel entry for reimbursement and too many variables

Saleforce customer service software is easy to use however the Travel portion not so user friendly
Tableau server- An irreplaceable visualisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
The quickness with which it refreshes data. And the versatility with which it handles big data. It is one of the best tools that is used to analyse any large dataset and make business decisions out of it. It is a product which helps the executives to make business decisions and also look at different views to a particular problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
The problem with tableau server is that all the views are static. Once a view is created you can't play around with different metrics to see different angles. You have to create a new view again with that new metric to see in that angle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm helping drive business by working with their marketing team to increase onboarders and to retain customers. We look for pain points and find insights to solve them.

What do you like best about the product?
I think that sales force is really helpful when it comes to selling our gyms memberships. It easy to use and has made my job way easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least I like about the software is that it sometimes gets stuck but I'm curious to find out if it's actually an ethernet problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unfortunately I cant solve the issue that the gym is experiencing with the software. I am on a leave of absence and dont wouldn't know until I come back.
Very intuitive Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Drag and Drop are very easy. The tool itself is very intuitive and with so many online resources available to use tableau that it becomes even easier to learn new features. Creation of Actions on Dashboard is very easy as well. I find it easy to use than Power BI

There is nothing as such what I don't like about it. The more I am learning and exploring about it, the more I am liking it.

I created many Dashboards while working as an Intern and integrated new reports with it. Now the team is more focused on creating visualization through Tableau instead of using Excel

I personally found it better than Power Bi

The different types of charts provided in the tableau are the most amazing features. Also, the drag-drop functionality and connections with GCP and Amazon and other cloud platforms are the most interesting and helpful features.

As such no dislikes but very curious that how salesforce is going to implement the tableau

I used it for the data visualization and creation of dashboards for my academic projects and study. Created graphical resume also along with the help of tableau.
