What do you like best about the product?
Tableau Desktop is the market leader when it comes to data Visualization and data analysis. The beauty of this tool lies in the features and advanced options it presents you with to represent your data whether it's a pie chart, gant chart, graph or any other figure possible. It gives them such an amazing color scheme that the visuals come alive and very much interactive as well.
Its ability to directly ingest the data from multiple sources like one of the most values feature of this tool.
Its analysis and predictive engine is very much superior to other competitors in the market. It has helped us many times to call out patterns, trends or anomalies which have had a huge impact on our business and the clients are also pretty happy with the performance and the results most importantly.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does the job very nicely and I can't find any fault in it, but I'll definitely like to see some improvements. The main one would be that it needs to be self sufficient to clean and prep the data inside the tool and not depend on any other 3rd party tool to do it or buy addons for this.
Secondly it needs to work on the recommendation it provides when you throw some dataset it's way, but more often than not. That recommended figure or chart doesn't fit the bill as desired.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau Desktop has been a major upgrade for us from MS Excel. The things we used to do in Excel would never look this appealing or visually pleasing and most of the times if you try to parse aa large fill, Excel would hang or crash altogether.
We have very pleasing presentations which are easily understood by everyone. The Dashboards are just amazing and provide you with complete details in a single screen view. We can import data from multiple sources at the same time in the latest version.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very powerful and beast in terms of performance. The data Visualization and analysis are on another level in this tool coupled with their excellent dashboard. It's a must have product for every data analysis team.

Great tool for managing project/client information. Easy to use once properly customised.

Easy to search/sort existing accounts/projects, but with a nice birds' eye view across your wider business with a lot of data conveniently visualised.

As with most business tools, interface could be a little nicer. Not sure how much of that is due to sloppy customisation, and recent updates have made it more pleasant to work with.

It's helped us get a better overview of outstanding issues and potential further sales. Additionally, it saves time to have everything available in one place.

Keep in mind the up front cost of customisation can be substantial.
Analytics Cloud is great as a BI visualisation tool for specific SF data

Compared to other BI tools, this tool is more specified to the data that Salesforce holds. In this way it is much easier to actually get value out of the data.

It is not as advanced as other visualisation tools (Tableau etc)

Getting more insights in current sales figures.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you first check whether the SF Analytics Cloud meets your expectations for getting specific analytics on your (sales) data. If this is not the case, you would be better off with for example a Tableau. If this is the case, this is a cheaper alternative.

Very useful to track business operations. Data suppliers always updated and super handful when working with collegues at work. Perfect so evaualte how your team is performing

It is not really friendly user. A bit old look and feel. Needs restyling

The vividness and simplicity of the program. The graphics and photos in a circle. And the blue background, I think, is a complete success.

There is really nothing I don't like, I can't say anything negative about the program/app.
