Market leader in Data Visualization and Data Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I am extremely fond of Tableau desktop. It has completely changed the way which we view and understand data. As compared to Microsoft Excel which we used earlier, it is extremely fast, many more visualization options are available, can connect to multiple sources of data and performance is top-notch as well. Tableau has the power to transform millions of rows of data into a meaningful graph or pie chart or any other structure which you choose and from that, you would be able to make out trends or patterns.
The AI provided in the tool is also very accurate and helps us while taking a decision based on the data provided. The main benefit which we have observed is that the data becomes really easy to read, understand and even correct for even a non-technical or higher management person. I have explored many tricks which help speed up the process and also increase the performance too. The ability to connect to multiple sources of data at the same time is invaluable and the speed of data ingestion has also increased drastically.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think this tool does the job perfectly what it is supposed to do but still, if I have to pinpoint any areas of improvements then I can think they should include tools to prepare and clean the data in the default package as well rather than extensions which one needs to buy separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to gain so much by using this tool in terms of productivity, performance and speeds. The data which took a lot of time earlier in Excel to be represented in a proper graphical form can be done in minutes here that too with customisations done to it. The data really comes to life with a warm colour scheme and beautiful presentation which almost anyone can understand and provide their inputs too.

If you are looking for a tool for data visualization and data analysis, look no further. This is the best you can find.
Simply the best visualisation tool out there
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that this product can be used at so many different levels. It can be used for deep analysis or just to quickly and simply visualize big data sets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permission controls limit the usage. It would be nice to be able to export pdf of the visualization to be reused in presentations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data analysis. Creating and sharing dashboard for all the departments.
Best Visualization Tool Ever
What do you like best about the product?
It provides quick insights within seconds and there are various options for visualization just with one click . I love its amazing user interface and its very user friendly

Tableau Desktop is a very expensive tool. Otherwise everything about it is really great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick Analytics, Beautiful and meaningful visualizations. So far I am able to automate most of my dashboards for office. Also, the story feature is a very interactive way to give presentations to stakeholder.

Go for it, it comes slightly expensive, but this is the best visualization tool currently available which is so user friendly

What do you like best about the product?
I use salesforce for business development, therefore salesforce is a great way to keep track of your live opportunities and understand why some opps are lost.
It is a good tool for creating reports which can be used as a base of information to plan your next development strategy.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am actually not a fan of the new lighting experience that Saleforce offers. I always go back to salesforce classic, maybe it is just me however, I think that the information is displayed clearer in the classic version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Saleforce as a tracker and a tool to help me analyse future strategies or methods of working. Like mentioned above the reporting tool is very helpful when formulating an new approach to your method of working.
Not a bad software

Easy to make dashboards without uploading to server right away. Good tool to utilise data visualisation

Can be very fiddly and unintuitive in certain aspects of building a dashboards. Can be difficult to adhere to how you want the dashboard to look in terms of layout of diagrams

Tableau one of the best business intelligence tools
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has three products i.e. Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Online. It is a very easy to learn tool suitable to people from any background. Gives a free version to students for a year long period and 30 days trials for other people in industry. It has great support available in terms of creating different visualizations and other features like a lot of data connections available, analyzing live data, user friendly drag and drop feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some visualizations are not easy to create in Tableau and needs good understanding like its very easy to create waterfall chart, donut chart in Power BI than Tableau. Also, it is very expensive compared to Power BI and should consider keeping a low cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During my job, I used data to gain actionable business insights using Tableau and performed analytics on it. I communicated the key results to the team by creating various storylines and built weekly/monthly reports and interactive dashboards. It gives a very good understanding of the data by creating visualizations

Its one of the best analytics tool having salesforce platform support. Data exploration, We can combine data from multiple sources. Easy Drag and drop for data visualization.

Need more connectivity features for external data sources like Xactly.

Outstanding data visualisation tool
What do you like best about the product?
Super quick to start exploring your data and finding insights, with intuitive drag and drop interface. Charts look fantastic; a client recently described a simple viz as looking "amazing". Great deal of flexibility in formatting and adding interactivity. Ability to combine multiple data sources easily and use the Data Interpreter to clean messy data with one click. Regularly improving with new features, such as Ask Data natural language querying and Explain Data for automatic suggestion of drivers of changes in metrics. Strong community of users to exchange ideas and good practices. It may not be the cheapest product but for its efficiency and quality of its results it is more than justified.

Occasionally vizzes developed in Desktop look different when uploaded to Tableau online

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau enables to develop dashboards, and different types of data visualization, from multiple data sources. You can get it from excels, databases, websites, among others.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that are more complicated than they should. You have to be very careful with the data preparation for you to get the proper results you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide access to visuals to anyone who requires it. Dashboards, graphs and tables more insightful and more eye catching.
Intuitive tool ideal for data visualization.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Tableau is that it doesn't require coding knowledge to produce visual reports and organize interactive panels. You can even access the latter on different devices so that everyone can work even when they are away from their desks. I also really like that the panels can be seen on multiple devices such as tablets, mobile devices and laptops.

It is a slightly expensive tool compared to other data visualization tools, however, it has a good value for money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we are using Tableau Desktop to perform all our internal analyzes, not only speeds up the process of our internal analyzes but also gives us many options to customize and filter our reports. We also use Tableau as a consulting tool with our clients to help them answer questions they have about their own key business performance indicators.

Excellent tool to visualize basic and complex analyzes. It can be summed up for great views for executives and many deepening opportunities for more analyst level staff. This allows staff to perform analyzes to save time by not having to duplicate reports at different levels for different employees. I recommend it openly.
