Personal and Professional Projects Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
The infographic presentation was the best, it helped out teams to understand the statistics and data behavior. So, the front end was the best we get among the available tools in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed was something I always hassle with when I upload a large amount of data but still it depends on the computation power of my system. If tableau can be run on basics systems then it will be great I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The general statistic programs that we run on our custom software always get checked and compared with tableau's results. So, it's a milestone tool for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your need before using the tool and try to keep the numbers and results as clean as possible. The end results will be great if you'll maintain the data's structure consistency.
Best for Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau desktop has unique features of drag and drop of attributes and metrics without going though any back end repository like OBIEE or MicroStrategy. It's good for fast visuals from the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security at user and access level is one thing it has as a downside compared to other enterprise level reporting tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating the reports, dashboard which I used to make in excel and sharing the whole excel file with the partners is reduced by publishing it to the tableau server. It gives more astonishing look with drill up amd down option and many other features which makes it dynamic and it's easy.
Very powerful tool to collaborate and analyze large amounts of data
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau's feature to visualize large data sets in a simple way represents the biggest benefit of this software. In particular to create large scale geographical overviews with country specific reports including thousands of individual data items allows the entire process to be more efficient compared to other solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau Server is limited compared to the Tableau Desktop version in terms of resource usage while handling large amounts of data. Although Tableau Server is dependent on the type of Web-Browser, the overall performance lacks behind the offline counterpart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating an efficient reporting process that includes all European countries used to be extremely time-consuming in the past. Tableau Server allows an entire team to simultaneously handle large amounts of data while also creating visually very pleasing results.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau is the best software that I have used till date for data visualization. It gives you amazing way to visualize data in the form of different types of graphs. The data can be visualized by different categorizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t think I dislike anything about using Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau presents the data in interesting graphical form based on different categories and variables. For example if you want to look at the distribution of any disease categorized by demographic variables including gender or race, Tableau will be able to present it in amazing graphical form. It also produces three way results. It has amazing capability of data predictive analysis, data querying and governance. I have used it for 5 years and this software has made my life easier as a data manager.

It is a life saver. Give it a chance.

Formatting of Visualization is a cumbersome task as you can't really duplicate the formatting in different charts. Tableau should provide some templates for designing

Making reporting highly simplified and convenient to usage. Dashboards developed can be easily accessed by users in various devices be it be mobiles or ipad.

Its interface is advanced and professional, it has a somewhat advanced learning curve, which leads us to train ourselves as employees to work more effectively. We export our analysis to any direction so that they meet the objectives and generate an impact on the business.

It has a learning curve, which requires that the staff have the proper capacity to handle their system fluently, so time and money must be invested to make the whole team feel comfortable and agile working through it. software. Currently in our company, both new and old workers are fully trained to use all the tools it offers us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We obtain detailed and even hidden customer information, which places us in a margin of probability to obtain new sales opportunities. We capture the data, integrate it, analyze it, combine it and merge it, in order to establish the proper control and due security to obtain quality data, which is later migrated to obtain a significantly higher income than we obtained before using this platform.

Companies whose interests are nurtured by obtaining benefits from potential customers, whose information needs to be investigated in order to obtain new opportunities, can be satisfied from this software. Teams can make decisions quickly and efficiently, based on charts and graphs that are often very interesting for a critical business strategy. It is a very powerful interface for viewing and understanding purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
The design of the graphs were really neat! I would recommend using this software for dynamic layout of dashboards and to display information better.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to get used to the software, took a lot of Youtubing and Googling before I could make my own graphs without external help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it to display annual information and break down the accounts for better graphical representation of the cash inflow and outflow. It has been really helpful to show very detailed trends and spot outliers that should be investigated.
Fast to prototype and to build dashboards. Flexible.

The ability to quickly prototype and to build a dashboard. Very easy to build a visual dashboard to quickly find insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really difficult to format certain things, especially, if you need to build lots of tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to find insights with data. When you need to quickly mockup something, it's hard to beat Tableau. We've been able to share insights quickly with our stakeholders (much less time than a typical IT project).

The interface is very user-friendly and intuitive.

There are some features missing (like the ability to include a dotted line in graphs).

What I like best about Tableau is that it is very easy to use. There is a lot of documentation as well as videos online on YouTube for example that have extensive tutorials. In addition, the number of things that I got to learn while using this software is unbelievable. There are so many tools especially for data visualizations that help get the best out of the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides that I ca pinpoint about Tableau. It is a very convenient data visualization software that I found widely in use at many different firms.

I am solving many business problems with Tableau such as visualizing large amounts of data and deriving insights from it that would otherwise be very time consuming manually. Tableau also has a variety of data visualizations tools in the application making it easier to manage the data quickly.
