A good software to use for visualisation
What do you like best about the product?
The User interface is very good and easily understandable

Most of the things are pretty good in Tableau

I am creating the required visualizations for my client. I can save more time while using Tableau.

What do you like best about the product?
It is mainly used for business intelligence that transforms a large amount of data into eye-catching visual representations like charts and graphs. It can be used to create stories, worksheets, and dashboards linking to data sources that can be either servers or files. It is best for developers to build in reports and provide insights to decision-makers. The license allows developers to directly access the data sources for adjustments and modifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs more analytics capabilities and adaptors for moving from other BI tools. It requires substantial training for new users because of the lack of pop-up messages, prompts, and quick help links in the presence of configurations. In simple words, it is not a toll that low-skilled users can figure out easily. The threat is that users might try to skip the training. In this case, the tool will work for basic queries but it will hold the organization back not because it cannot do this but because users are unable to make it work for nuanced tasks. It needs to simplify its user-interface to completely capitalize on the distributed business intelligence movement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows users to build interactive dashboards with the simplicity of a drag and drop interface. It has a short learning curve. It easily connects to API or numerous data sources. It has the least learning curve and one of the best tools in space. It has made it easier to load and extract the data as it has multiple connectors. It works very fast. It offers a wide range of visualizations such as old familiar standbys. It also guides how to use each visualization.

In Simple words - Tableau is a Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tool which helps you to convert data from the various data source into interactive dashboards and BI reports. It also provides multiple software connectors and services.

Tableau still lacks the capability to find, visualize Automatically; it cannot narrate significant findings such as correlations, exceptions, clusters, links, and predictions in data that are relevant to users without requiring them to build models or write algorithms.
An application such as Alteryx is ahead of Tableau in such capabilities.

Tableau is an excellent tool in building interactive dashboards to make effective story points related to data and help the leadership in data-driven decision making.

If you are looking for better visuals and easy implementation, go for Tableau over any other visualization software.

It is not consistent. It seems to be down more than it's working

Great for metrics, it lag can skew numbers.

I like how easy it is to use and quickly pull data for daily productivity.

I don't like how depending on your set up, you can have a lag and not receive real-time data.

I am able to see what work my agents are completing day to day and also see where our biggest opportunities lie for gaps in work.

Make sure you know exactly what you need when setting up the reports and that it is going to pull the data as expected. If you aren't specific it can give incorrect data.

The product is extremely powerful. Dashboard creation is intuitive. Data exportation is easy.

The granularity of user experience makes it less enjoyable to use.

All things data flow through tableau. We are solving both external and internal data needs.

A ton of optionality and granularity. Granularity is good other than the user experience.

If you're looking for a solution that gives the end user the ability to create a powerful data visualization, Tableau may be a good one to you ..now a days we can connect data from cloud directly and work on tabelau desktop

Notting specific like dislike in tableau but sometimes the tool get hung due to more data while building dashboard but we can extract the data and then connect and develop our dashboard.

There are many visualization to show our data into more useful information and easy to understand ..forcasting the data that is more useful to upskill our business to next level conparing the growth and loss with previous year kind of matrix.
